Back home from the tour! It was a great week, but definitely happy to be home. Would do again.

Excellent show tonight. The room was full, the crowd had great time and sang along when they could, and some old friends of ours showed up! Truly magical. We had no idea anybody was going to come out. What an awesome journey we've had on this little tour. Would do again!

Travel day today after the festival (the festival was amazing), then one more (sold out!) show tomorrow night. Then home to our own beds and our pups! We stopped at Old Woman Bay and looked for amethysts on the way.

Rainy tonight. Kind of a bummer. We had just got into the campfire jam and our gear got soaked 🫤 Hopefully it'll dry out by morning, we've got a set at 10am

We had a tech issue with our wireless stuff during sound check, and I swear, I bounced like a damn jackrabbit to grab our spare patch cables from backstage. And we still started on tme! Our gig bag is heavy, but it pays to come over-prepared. 🤷‍♂️

Really great show at Rock Island Lodge in Wawa tonight. A house show vibe but in a cabin right on Lake Superior. We took a break to all watch the sunset together. Friggin magical. Those moments make it all worth it.

I think a lot of people think that art and media are *for* them, that it should be created to meet their preferences. But it can't be. I think art is made to the preference of the artist and the beauty for the viewer is in finding the shared connection with the artist & everyone else that likes it.

Heading out on a 1 week tour with the quartet on Wednesday! Playing a few shows to and from the Live from the Rock Festival up near Thunder Bay. It's the longest trip the band has taken together, but I think it's going to be a lot of fun. I'm sure I'll take 0 pictures, as usual.
