I wish @jetbrains.com would either offer a community version of Qodana for PHP or remove the three-contributor-limit from the Ultimate edition.

BBC just released damning research on AI assistants' news accuracy. Results: 51% of AI responses had significant issues. 19% introduced errors when citing BBC. 13% misquoted or made up BBC content entirely. 🤐🤐 www.bbc.co.uk/aboutthebbc/... via @ezraeeman.bsky.social

Maybe it's age, maybe it's the times, but it definitely resonates.
What’s it called when you don’t have Impostor Syndrome, but you’re worried that maybe there just isn’t a place for you anymore? I know full-well what I’m capable of, the value I have brought and can bring, but maybe it doesn’t matter.
The researchers also found that “users with access to GenAI tools produce a less diverse set of outcomes for the same task [...] and thus can be interpreted as a deterioration of critical thinking.” www.404media.co/microsoft-st...
I have experienced this to some level and I think it's only going to get worse. www.reddit.com/r/webdev/s/J...

“For modern developers, documentation might as well be fine print”. Weird sentence there @fly.io.
@jetbrains.com are there plans to introduce branching in AI chats? I regularly find myself wanting to have a little aside in without losing nor amending the context.
I don't know how I learned about @oddbird.dev only today. It's a fantastic website with incredibly useful tools for web development: oddbird.dev/tools/
@thewp.world is it possible to set my newsletter email address to something different from my login address?
This can't be legal in the EU, right? a) If you want to exchange my money for a different (made-up) currency, don't you have to be a bank? b) Imagine if your savings "expired" after a year unless you effectively put more money into that bank. www.airalo.com/help/en/my-a...

It's possible to create a new WordPress site with SQLite directly. With a little intervention, there is no need to spin up a MySQL that would immediately get disregarded after installation.
I was using a plugin that fixed the major annoyance of #WordPress Block Editor's narrow, fixed-width sidebars. Sadly, this stopped working properly with WP 6.6+. Here is a forked version 1.0.0 with a comprehensive changelog: https://github.com/alpipego/resizable-editor-sidebars/releases/tag/1.0.0
WordPress belongs to all of us.
WordPress, and its community, stands out because it is truly more than the sum of its parts. We (collectively) give much more than we take. THAT is why the majority of the people in the WordPress community don’t want to fork. Because it is ours. We all made it. Together. (end)
