If you're on Win 11 Pro, you can use the group policy editor to defer feature updates by a set number of days (I do a month,) dodging almost all of these stupid issues. If you're on Win 11 Home, you can use regedit to do the same thing. If you're on Win 10, you're smarter than me.

I'm in the middle of rolling out 1.4.1, which includes these changes.

Upcoming Takataka update adds some basic Git integration, letting you see current diff status versus HEAD and conveniently revert changes at will. Diff also visualized in the document minimap. Currently dogfooding. Bonus: Syntax highlighting colors come to the minimap. #softwaredev #dev #gamedev

This a great little game and very much worth your time if you're itching for a little more metroidvania in your life. Especially if you're a sucker for crunchy pico8 visuals.

Here's a fun project that I never shared on here. It's my weirdly modded SNES cartridge copy of Gradius 3. I'll highlight cool people along the way. For quick context, Gradius 3 had a lot of slowdown on the SNES. If you've played it, you know what I'm talking about. #homebrew #snes #modding

Took a break from the current project long enough to loop back around and get GBC rendering (mostly) working in my hobby GB/GBC emulator. I think it's good to have multiple things in flight so you can change gears if you start to feel burnt out. Also, not everything has to be monetized. #gamedev
