Pathfinder: WoTR God, I wanted to love this one so bad. For having absolutely gorgeous visuals & fun combat, its cons were aplenty: dookie dialogue, companion characters that are straight-up insufferable, a STEEP learning curve for me, lots of room for game-breaking errors. Idk, 4.5/10

Outer Wilds This game marries the abstract with the scientific beautifully - the passing of time in the cosmos (and our place in it all), quantum physics, even navigating varying gravities & orbits - but it never loses its sense of wonder & discovery. A cosmic mystery that left me in tears, 9/10

Blue Prince A game that requires you take down notes, like GOOD notes. An interconnected, intricate web of royal espianoge, surprisingly good worldbuilding, and an insane amount of puns. Just when you think you've solved one mystery, 4 more take it's place, it's so addicting & rewarding, 9.8/10

Sayonara Wild Hearts For what this game set out to do, I think it did quite well - a catchy (and genuinely great) soundtrack, a heartfelt story, fun level design. We need more games that explore queer heartbreak!! But idk, rhythm games aren't my cuppa so I don't think this one was for me, 6.5/10

The Stanley Parable An existential experience nestled in-between a really intriguing story & stellar voice acting (shout out Kevan Brighting) that had me second-guessing absolutely everything, at every turn. Do we, the player, really have choice? The end is never the end is never the end, 8/10

Coffee Talk This game plays the way curling up in a soft blanket and a warm cup of coffee feels. I was genuinely endeared to every character by the end! I felt the dialogue to be (a bit) rough at times, but the heart of this game was so peaceful and lovely ♥️ It lulled me to sleep most nights, 7/10
