Neera Tanden: Governors are crucial because they can say "no" to Trump, "no" to ICE, and "no" to election interference—and they are.

James Talarico: Having a secure border is important, but so is having a pathway to citizenship for our neighbors who have been here for years and decades.

James Talarico: Under the Trump administration, we've seen masked men in unmarked vehicles kidnaping our neighbors off our street. We were told that ICE was going to go after violent criminals, but that's not what they're doing. They should be going after violent gang members, not moms and babies.

James Talarico: "The truth is that we are all on the same team. We are far more the same than we are different. Imagine what we could do if we did it together. Imagine who we could take on in this country if we did it together as one team."

Trump promised to lower costs for Americans on day one. Now—for the 6th month in a row—inflation remains high.
