I feel like I should have a bio, but I have nothing pithy to say about myself.

After years of need unique long and strong passwords why is everything asking me to create 4 digit PINs for "security"?

Audiobooks are weirdly sticky. I really dislike the book I have going now, but Travis Baltree has a decent voice but the book is not good.

I think i missed my favorite apples for the season. They are SnowSweets and Honey Gold. They have about a 3 week window in October, but they might have been early this year? I am so sad. I will keep calling the apple house but I think i missed them last week.

I had an absolutely lovely day wondering around Northfield today. I read a book. I bought books. I saw art. I took a few photos. I ate good food. I sat in the sunshine. I walked around. I listened to a waterfall. Just lovely.

Finished a paper eyeball book just now. Chlorine by Jade Song. So good with a bit of body horror. That was a disturbing but pleasant read.

Tidal's My Mix 5 Playlist has been hitting all of my vintage 90s favorites. I only recently discovered the MyMix 4+ and damn, I can not decide if it is the creepiest or the most delicious to fed to such an exacting taste.

It was fine. Kind of a basic assessment of risk. She did a nice job of talking about zero risk, and gave good examples of the benefit of digging into one's actual goal instead of chasing a a solution looking for a goal.

Look who flew by me on my walk today. (While writing alt text I am guessing this is a coopers hawk but am really not sure.)

Go to your camera roll and search for boat and post one you like. OK. I'll play. This is from a Mpls River Rats show

Today a 3 legged squirrel stopped less than one stride in front of me, waved its stumpy missing leg at me, and ran up a tree calling my attention to a wedding starting. I needed some love in my day, so continued on my pokemon walk, and listened to the ceremony. It was lovely.

At one point the officiant mentioned that many came from about 5 blocks away, while some came from a multi hour flight, so I am neighbors with some part of the couple. Congrats Liam and Lilly.

I am still amused at how much satisfaction I get from an app that allows me to shop for parking spaces. But knowing before you leave the house if the lot is $6, $27, or $34 and which other lot is $10 is such a life improver.

I did my very first darning attempt on a pair of jeans. It looks awful and punk as hell cool at the same time. Anything worth doing is worth doing poorly right?

I have gone to a lot of live shows. A lot of artists tour with a backing track instead of a live band cause touring is expensive. There is a fine line difference between those that feel like a concert and those acts that feel like glorified karaoke.

The Emei show was so much fun. I even forgive the really tall man that stood directly in front of me for most of it meaning I only saw his back cause that dude knew all the words to all the songs and was totally participating.

Rabbitology put on such a great live show tonight. If you haven't heard of Rabbitology you should totally give her a listen.

I went to the mall to walk. There is so much pleather out there right now, and so little actual leather. I was thinking, I miss Wilson's Leather. Turns out they still have a web site. The thing is I want to shop by feel and try stuff on. It is all so cheap, but still $70.

How soon til the mRNA tech makes a cold vaccine? I know there are vaccines for some of the viruses we know as colds, but colds suck and a vaccine would be lovely.

That horrible moment when you are about to go to bed and you need to question is that a sleep it off ache near the incision and your clothes are irritating it or a get thee to the ER cause that is infection streaking away.

America is the place you pay admission to experience a lively walkable city full of independent restaurants and small maker shops for retail with street performers every couple blocks. It could be our norm, but cars are more important.

Listening to the This is Actually Happening series on AI. This is terrifying. It is addictive, it causes psychosis, it is a personalized cult leader that leave them broke. And yet the victims know this and yet still love their AI monsters. So creepy.

Today has been a very long day. Yesterday's after fest decaf wasn't actually decaf. I did not actually sleep. I have now been at the VEG animal hospital (which is kind of neat in its open floor flow) with a sick bunny for the past 4 hours. He was sedated for an x-ray and isn't ready for discharge.

I really should think to take before pictures so I can take after pictures when I start any sort of yard work project. Spent about an hour cutting down all the junk trees and stingging nettle between my house and my neighbor's fence and it is a very pleasing after, but I wish I had a before photo.

I have a beautiful Blonde Swan hat and caplet in a light blue suede that read French wizard school so I felt uncomfortable wearing it anymore. Today i got it feathers and with this styling I think I can wear it again and I am so happy.

What Uptown MPLS needs is 3 distinct alt clothing stores, one alt shoe store and one alt jewelry store. And maybe a fancy candle shop. A revival of the 3 flavors of Heartbreakers. A revival of the original Saint Sabrina's/Uptown MPLS. The shoe store (was it Bay Street?) And the candle cart.

I am annoyed at the ausiobooks I have right now. One is an adventure where the main character doesn't have a clue what she have gotten into, with a bit of enemies to lovers so there are too many shouts of "go away" "stay" "run" "save me" "spare him" "you lied" "I lied" "you promised". So dull.

The second, the voice actor, who has written several good books, got a much much bigger cover credit than the author, so I thought he wrote it. He did not, and while he is a great reader it is a pretty dull book.

I am really thinking of hiring a stylist post surgery. 6 years of work from home in my gym clothes has made me really want a style. I kinda want to go professional cottage-core once I am not so busty I'd look like a whorish bog hag.

Dropped of my knives to get them professionally sharpened for $4 each. This feels like some portal in time to 1990s price for a service.

Sometimes you give a best selling book a try and wonder the whole time how the fuck is THIS popular? It just let's me know there are horrible people, even in bookstores.

I am going to finish this book, but what a sad existence. There are so few emotions. They can feel rage and vengeance and disgust and pain and power over others. There is a really gross possessive "love". There is a very amoral morality in this story. It makes the world make more sense but gross.

This book keeps getting worse. It is so badly written, but it kind of needs to be badly written because there are so few options in the morality. God like physical powers, but being called a baby is the worst thing you can call someone.

The acoustics at Union Depot is crazy. There is one family having brunch, but when they laugh it echos as if each voice commands an army of ghosts that fill the whole space. It sounds like hundreds when it is less than a dozen people here.

Pharmacy text robots need consent programming. When I say no to autorefill I mean no. Nagging me will not make me change my mind. No means no and robots need to be programmed to accept it the first time every time.

Twin Cities bike folks: Is there good bike racks by the Turf Club? I want to bike there for tomorrow's show but I cant picture bike racks near by.

The FDA approved a robot for blood draws. Someone built this because they say they cannot find human staff trained to do phlebotomy. The capital cost of these machines would allow an institution to humanely pay, schedule, and keep safe human staff if labor had any say. This will make me a communist.
