LEADERS, NOT BRIDES!📢 Every girl deserves the chance to learn, lead, dream and shape her own future. Child marriage deprives girls of their childhood, disrupts their education and exposes them to serious health risks. #EndChildMarriage #EndObstetricFistula #RestoreDignity

In 2024 alone, the United Nations verified the recruitment and use of 2,365 children in the DRC and welcomed the release of 350 children following UN advocacy, plus the voluntary release of over 1,200 more children by other armed groups. #6MillionVoices for #JusticeforCongo

The conflicts in the DRC have claimed an estimated 6 million lives & displaced millions more. War crimes, crimes against humanity, including sexual violence, recruitment of child soldiers & attacks on civilians have devastated communities across the country. #6MillionVoices for #JusticeForCongo

Human rights do not stop at the prison gates. For three years, Pakistan’s authorities have systematically denied Imran Khan the right to a fair trial, subjected him to prolonged solitary confinement, and limited his access to medical care and visitation rights.

Amnesty International urges the Pakistani authorities to unconditionally restore Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi Khan’s right to see their family and lawyers. Both must be given access to adequate medical care and their solitary confinement, which is unlawful, should end immediately.

Gentle reminder.📌 Statelessness is a human rights issue. It has an impact on the rights to education, health and employment, all of which Zimbabwe is obliged under international and regional human rights law to respect, protect and fulfil. #EndStatelessness.
