Happy belated 50th anniversary of "The Bob Newhart Show" belatedly celebrating the Bicentennial 4th of July! (The still on the right is one of the funniest moments of the series.)

Happy 50th anniversary of Philip McKeon as Tommy Hyatt! (No offense to Alfred Lutter III.)

Happy 50th Anniversary to "Margaret's Engagement," which would change the course of the rest of the season.

Thank you, Dolly, for so much, including this.

Happy 50th anniversary to the early debut of "What's Happening!!"

Happy big 50th anniversary!

Happy 50th Anniversary to my favorite "ABC After-School Special," "Dear Lovey Hart: I Am Desperate." It couldn't be more 1976 if it tried, and Susan Lawrence is perfect as the flawed heroine.

Happy 50th anniversary to the last ship-teasing episode of "Man About the House"!

She once responded nicely to a Tweet (or Skeet) of mine about how much I like "Can't Stop the Music." RIP, "It's the '80s, you're going to see a lot things you've never seen before."

Happy 50th anniversary to two of the best episodes of the 1975-76 season!

"Meanwhile, in the dark, impenetrable void, Jean-Paul Sartre was a-movin' and a-groovin'."

Happy 50th anniversary to Suzanne Pleshette's perfect delivery of "A school, Bob? She became a school?"

"Johnny Dangerously" quote for our times.

Good riddance, 2025! Happy 2026! (Some restrictions may apply.)

50 years ago tonight, American culture changed forever, and none of us knew it. (We just thought it was a funny episode with great guest stars.)

Happy 50th Anniversary of the arrival of B.J. Hunnicutt and Sherman Potter!

Happy 50th Anniversary to that memorable Tuesday night that ABC had Fonzie move in with the Cunninghams and then introduced us to Kotter & Co!

IYKYK (I won't when I look at this 6 months later).

Julie Brown, "Spirit of '76" (1990) @missjuliebrown.bsky.social

I used to block idiots on here, but I'm trying to mute more. (It's like setting an old-school phone down gently while they're still talking, rather than slamming the receiver down.)

I wasn't expecting irony.

Thank you for making "Hot Lips" into a human being.

Director Jerry London. Director Jerry Paris.

Happy 50th anniversary to Cupcake on a recognizance mission before she kidnaps Fonzie, Richie, and Ralph (but not Potsie).

From 1944

Bittersweet 50th anniversary to the last MASH episode (not counting clip shows) with Col. Henry Blake and Capt. Trapper John McIntyre.

Happy 50th anniversary to the Howdy Doody Lookalike Contest Richie enters!

Happy 50th anniversary to the Maureen McCormick episode of "Happy Days"!

RIP Tony Slattery, who was outrageous yet lovable, especially on "Whose Line Is It Anyway?"

Happy 50th anniversary to the first "filmed before a live studio audience" ep of "Happy Days," which I say (with no exaggeration) had huge ramifications on pop culture for at least a decade. (Note that the living room layout would have to be changed to accommodate the change in Season 3 and beyond.)
