In my experience injuries of this nature (e.g., blood clots, arterial damage) are handled very differently by team medical and training staff than "traditional" injuries - as to such injures, I shall forever thank Ken Norton Jr. for all he did to keep Napoleon McCallum still, when he was injured.

The Giants v Commanders game proved the adage: it a game of inches and a game of seconds, in this instance, seconds - there are understandable reasons to lose a game, this was not one - if this division comes down to one game and this is the difference, wow.

If players and coaches are penalized for unprofessional conduct, and they are - if team executives are penalized for unprofessional conduct, okay, I got a warning letter telling me if I did it again, I'd be penalized - so too should officials be penalized - credit to the NFL.

Buffalo was one of the two loudest road environments in which we played during my years with the @lasvegasraiders.bsky.social - will be interesting to see @buffalo-bills.bsky.social fans can create the same loud environment in the new stadium that they did in the old stadium.

Just saw a penalty for too many men on the field and my immediate thought was, as always when I see that, is that some penalties are understandable (e.g., better to hold than get your quarterback killed), but too many men on the field is infuriating, Mr. Ed could count to 11.
