My youtube shorts feed has been full of Deadlock character interactions and genuinely Deadlock might be the best written ensemble game ever made. Every pair has 3 lines and usually one or two of them have deep lore under the surface or express the absolute breadth of humanity.

I wonder if i have reach to ask a question for the de- and recompilation people. I am seeing a lot of people complain about using GenAI for the work and i am wondering if there's a unique problem with using GenAI for re- and decomps. GenAI sucks, but i am wondering if there's something additional.

Apothecary Diaries is getting a game on Switch 2, which is actually frustrating to me, because i am beyond a sucker for the franchise and if it is exclusively a Switch 2 game, then there's another point or 3 in the "buy a switch 2" camp.

I am seeing some steam "critique" again because of a leak and i just want to remind people that there's likely an anti-steam psy-op happening because they require disclosure of AI, which is something a lot of companies dislike. And no this is not "love steam" it is be careful with outrage.

I see a lot of people talk about how new games are declining in sales while old ones aren't per a steam report. I want to add another reason: hardware. I can afford to buy new games, but i cannot afford to upgrade my PC enough to make them enjoyable to play.

I was definitely among the "i don't like the art of the new OOT reamke" but seeing the world and not just LInk sleeping, i can see the cision and honestly i looks pretty damn good and could potentially be a foundation for a new look in the larger gaming industry.
