That was a shockingly poor first 45 minutes there. Looked more like a preseason friendly type of performance!

Today obviously isn't a 'must win' game for Leeds but considering Sunderland's struggles so far, their defensive issues & also the fact they had a tough game on Thursday, it is a game we should be winning if we really are as good as we believe. We need to start converting our draws into wins.

Just a word of advice to you good people but be very careful when putting away your nasal sprays & your Superglue's, as some of them look VERY similar & there is always the potential for an embarrassing mishap!

Played 7 in the league so far this season & only scored more than 1 goal against Newcastle. 5 games scoring 1 & 1 game scoring 0. This was always likely to happen when our summer transfer window was so focused on defensive players.

Just read that Nmecha won't sign a new contract without guarantees of more playing time. Whilst i understand his thinking, he hasn't shown enough to oust DCL, so we're gonna need a new 9, & hopefully one who'll genuinely challenge DCL for a start going forwards.

Although i am disappointed with the score today, i was very happy with what i saw of the first 60 of the game or so, & it's clear we've made big improvements from last season. The fact we are disappointed to lose only 2-1 to the reigning champs & the favourites to win this years trophy is good sign.

The big difference today was their subs cost £265m & ours cost £45m (30 of which was BA!), plus Arteta was about to make subs before they scored but then still made the subs after they'd scored to keep their feet on our throats, whereas DF is too often reactive & timid with his sub decisions.

I know it wasn't BA's fault we lost, but DF bringing him on when we need a goal is so illogical! He can be useful when we're trying to not concede but that's it at this level. Why not bring on Longstaff, who at least matches up physically with a team like Arsenal. This is my main issue with DF!

Glad to hear that it looks like Bahoya is likely going to be fit for tomorrow, so he be able to sit on the bench to see Aaronson being brought on after 60 & then for him to get on for about 90 seconds at the end of the game 👍 😜

According to the BBC website, last season 13 teams finished within 4 places of their positions after 5 games & over last 10 seasons 138 out of 200 did the same so, according to these stats, we have about a 2/3 chance of finishing between 1st & 9th! I'll gladly take those odds! 🤍💛💙 #LUFC

The 4 teams Leeds have played so far are all currently top 12 in league, & minus their results v us, they'd have 24 points from 13 games so nearly 2 points a game, plus they'd all be unbeaten apart from Brighton losing 4-3 at Chelsea, which makes our impressive start that much more impressive, imo.

Isn't it strange how when Man Utd or Arsenal or other 'Big 6' teams get a bad refereeing decision against them it becomes a HUGE story for days but Leeds have had numerous apologies for bad decisions in the PL with barely a peep from the media. Wonder what the difference is? 🤷‍♂️
