Family watch Strictly and I play one of the greatest Zelda games ever
The form factor and screen size of the original Switch (and OLED) model is perfect. I don’t really like the bulk of the Switch 2…. I get that it was probably necessary to get a bit more grunt and a bigger screen size, but the original was perfect
Little PS Portal update…seems it was my PS5 that was the problem. Where it was situated, the WiFi has terrible (~15mbps). I got a booster (which I should have done ages ago anyway), hardwired the ps5 in and now around 140-150mbps. Portal works flawlessly now
I wanted to love the PS Portal I really did…but my word the laaaaaaaaaaaaag is horrendous on an internal WiFi setup that gets about 500mbs…
In Star Trek TNG there’s an episode where loads of enterprise d’s appear from parallel universes, there’s one ship that’s all fucked up and smashed and exploding and that versions Riker is screaming “we won’t go back!!” and I feel like that’s our universe
United States President Donald Trump issues executive order instructing federal government agencies to "use the terms 'Super Intelligence' and 'SI' in place of 'Artificial Intelligence' and 'AI' and will not acknowledge the usage of 'Artificial Intelligence' and 'AI' in any applicable setting."
Also, why be an MVP anymore when you can just watch all the latest updates come in posted by MVPs 🤣. Keep it up everyone! I’m learning a lot
I would have liked to be at #FabCon this year, not so much the tech but just to catch up with folk. But things change, as do priorities. I spent tonight with a hot air gun scraping paint from stairs….
Argos catalogue spring ‘93… Street Fighter 2 for £65 😳
Chatting to a mate about his lad saving up £100 over the last few months to buy FC27 (I think it’s a football game…) and thinking “that’s insane!” and then remembering the cost of games in the early 90s… £50 for NES Gremlins 2… that’s £115 in today’s money 😳
The number of apologists in this thread is insane… It’s simple, don’t market your product as limitless when there are clear limits (yes I was in the Synapse Analytics trenches). Be clear about your ability to provide your services and people will understand. Limit at creation time and people won’t…
Me: *writes a halfway thought-through rant late one evening* LinkedIn: Me: 😳
Surely there’s a or will be a “dark ai” like the dark web? Where model usage is unrestricted… www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
I’ve never used DAMA-DMBOK in any data projects, and after 25 years in data not sure I’m ever going to. The principles just seem to be “common concepts” in data anyway, what makes DAMA special? i find myself once again looking through materials and thinking “ok…so?” dama.org/dmbok2r-info...
