The default hover state on #AppleVisionPro is problematic — especially when it comes to images. Because directing your focus overexposes the content, a user is never able to see its correct color except when in their peripheral vision. It ruins a lot of carefully color-managed imagery out there.

It is awfully maddening to have to wait 24 hours for any launch day data from App Store Connect.

After committing to a launch day, and then finding a late-breaking, show-stopping bug, I thought I would have to launch my augmented reality app WITHOUT its visionOS build. But I’m happy to report, I found a fix, and it will ship on time.

Hologlyph. Holo, from hologram. And glyph as in a symbol that carries meaning. So a hologlyph is a little digital 3D gesture that appears as though in your physical space. In a few days when the app launches, you’ll be able to send hologlyphs right from your iPhone! #hologlyph #augmentedreality
