48 hours removed from WrestleDream, my one big take has nothing to do with show length of violence or any of that jazz. It's that Sting has never looked cooler than in his 2025 Gandalf era.

Kyle Fletcher vs. Mark Briscoe was EXCELLENT. A pairing I can always rely on.

Tailgate Brawl is a great concept. A pre-show is supposed to inspire last-minute buys. I can't think of a better way to do that than with FTR vs. JetSpeed: one of the most foolproof match-ups in AEW.

I'm feeling *great* about AEW at the moment. TV has been consistently strong for weeks and Grand Slam Australia hit with me. Revolution looks like it's going to have an out-of-this-world lineup. Tony Khan is back in the weeds doing what he does best. Keep it going!

As a fan of the professional wrestler CM Punk I would like his next World Wrestling Entertainment feud to be about more than just "you left this place 10 years ago and I stayed!!!!!!" please.

I still can't believe we lived through the perfect set of circumstances that allowed this to happen. The spirit captured here, more than anything else, is what I chase in wrestling. A searing two-week feud that I love even more on reflection.

My (pretty basic) read on the Ricky Starks situation is that Tony Khan believes he is heading to WWE and therefore doesn't want to book him. Starks appears hungry, so I'd expect a quick jump when his AEW deal expires. Which stinks, because I want to watch him. I'll still catch his indie dates.

Some of the best times of my life came during my late teens/early 20s, supporting Jimmy Calderwood's Dons. Jimmy's sides were often sublime, sometimes ridiculous, and never dull. A true rollercoaster ride. I remember the 4-0 Copenhagen as fondly as Dave Bus. RIP. I'm gutted.

I really want to see Omos wrestling on television again. At a time when almost every big man can do dives and rolls, a traditional giant is almost like a unicorn. I'd love to see today's hyper-athletes working around a huge, lumbering monster. Thought his run with AJ rocked.

Watching SmackDown. Recent changes in the tag division are paying big dividends. MCMG have been good. Gargano is loads better as a smarmy ass heel and the turn was well played. Profits going through a very interesting character period. Solid work. #Wrestlesky

Putting Kyle Fletcher over Little Kazu is exactly the kind of ballsy booking I want in my wrestling tournaments. Kyle's presentation as the competition's leader has been immaculate so far. He remains the pre-eminent rising male star in AEW. #Wrestlesky

Fired up for Claudio Castagnoli vs. Brody King. Even in this Cold Arena Era. Don't care. Those big ol' boys got the blood pumping with that face-off last week. That one big spot where the freakishly strong Claudio hosses Brody around is going to hit.

Had a garbage few weeks, mental health wise, so I'm very much looking forward to Claudio vs. Brody bringing me back to life tonight, baby.
