Ok, kids. Little tip for you. If you are middle aged and nearsighted, keep on the look out for these symptoms... Cloudy vision, millions of dots, and possibly any large dark spots. You could have a retinal tear or detached retina. Here's what i was seeing.

My initial instructions were face down, ass up for a week.. but we found out that as long as I keep my chin to chest I don't have to always be laying down. It still sucks for my neck and shoulders but at least I can sit up. So, take it from me. You notice symptoms, get on it quick.

Thursday I had my follow up with the retinal specialists who say all is well. I can only describe my vision in the left eye as looking through a salt water aquarium where just the tippy top is outside of the water and it jiggles like some is shaking the aquarium. It's kind of hilarious to see.

The reason for that is the nitrous gas bubble in my eye where the vitreous "jelly" used to be. They take that out by the way and you definitely notice it happening in surgery. Eventually the bubble will dissipate and regular fluid will remain. But I will be prone to cataracts in a couple years.

This was on a Monday. I got in with my eye doctor Tuesday morning who referred me to retinal vitreous specialists that day. Wednesday, I not only had two retinal tears, but also a detached retina in two places. Surgery went well, though.

Just discovered that if you send all able dwellers to the wasteland before a Scorched attack, the Scorched just come in, wander around a bit, and then leave. Two pregnant dwellers ran around a bit but nobody took damage or died. #FalloutShelter #UltraciteFever

Was going to do the last Redux expedition for YouTube but... I just did it a month ago. This also means half my footage was trash due to it recording my desktop rather than the game, because I am an idiot. #NoMansSky #BreachExpeditionRedux

My wife and I have this ritual where once in awhile we will take our phones and put them in another room while we have a conversation. It's not because we're trying to do something to help our marriage, we're just tired of seeing things in our social media feeds based on what we talked about.

Rewatching all of #StrangerThings ahead of Season 5 next month. Up to Season 4, "Project Nina." My friend plays the Lead Lab Guard and his delivery on a line is sooo creepy and effective. "Why don't you go back inside? Play nice for the doctor, hnmm."
