Ankaris project

Artist Chris Moore RIP I met him twice at Illuxcon. What a gentleman and all round talent! Huge inspiration for me! That’s him, right side in both pics. Hamming it up with Jim Burns in chainmail and at breakfast with Jim again and his wife, Mark Harrison, John Harris and myself being the clown!

Very chuffed to have picked third place in the 17th ARC Salon in the Imaginative Realism category for my painting ‘Passage’.

Fred’s work has inspired me since I was a teenager and he continues to do so! I wouldn’t be the artist I am today without his work being in the world. Thank you Fred 🙏

An old oil painting commission around 2010-ish. It was based on concept art I did for a project that didn’t make it. Client saw the concept somewhere and wanted to buy it thinking it was a real painting. I said I’ll paint you one! 52in across from memory.

Looking for something cool to gift this Christmas? I can't guarantee you'll find it in my store, but why not give it a try? www.redbubble.com/people/Ailan...

I ain’t afraid of no ghost…

Who you gonna call?

Are acrylics better? No, no, cheaper, quick to dry, more seductive they are..
