A hummingbird doesn't just flap its wings up and down. They make tiny figure-eight patterns, rotating at the shoulder. On the backstroke, the wing changes angle so it continues to push air down, allowing the bird to hover and even fly backwards! 🪶 #birds #birdphotography #naturephotography
