my mind keeps wandering back to speed racer moivie. so funny remembering the contemporary reactions of "WORST MOVIE EVER it's so CARTOONISH all the CGI looks so FAKE!!!" and then you see the wachowskis explain their process like "yeah we did that on purpose we wanted it to look like real life anime"

and then you actually watch the movie and the sickest and/or funniest shit you've ever seen happens nonstop for like two hours straight

the one criticism i was genuinely surprised by was folks complaining that the editing & nonlinear narrative made it hard to follow. I felt the opposite! the goofy editing made it really clear to me when we were getting Context Flashbacks. the one time i was confused it was cleared up One Scene Later

been trying to do more of the like "break down food cravings into the Specific Thing your body's signaling it needs" thing lately. like craving salty foods -> oh maybe i should try electrolytes type thing. have yet to figure out what nutrient deficiency makes me chug milk like i grew up on a farm.

must emphasize that under normal circumstances i am not a Milk Drinker Guy i do not go pour myself a glass as a Beverage Of Choice. but just now i did find myself chugging half a carton no warning. Why.

like if we're going to have massive fucking heatwaves in my area in OCTOBER!!!!!!! could my miserable body At Least have the decency to not Simultaneously have pain issues and a tummy ache

spent all Sunday wondering why i was having leg and back pain so bad it was hard to walk and only as I was drifting off to sleep did i remember spending Saturday running up and down multiple flights of stairs with a massive overstuffed backpack on

when i got home tonight i hit the pjackk and it made something in my back pop so forcefully i think i briefly saw what lies beyond

why did i have to remember that video games rule and i like them 1) when i desperately need to go Miser Mode and save some money up and 2) when THE STEAM SALE IS GOING ON

i've had a bad string of luck lately where on weekends i run out of energy and need a lie down for a bit every like, hour or two. and right now my only options are 1) Gross Floor or 2) climb up in loft bed where because i'm fully laying in bed means i usually am there Much Longer than an hour or two

having Couch where i could lay down for a bit and get up more easily or at least have a Chill Time spot that's not just my cheap and aging desk chair would be. so nice. alas. Hundreds Of Dollars Of Disposable Income I Don't Have
