I know I'm posting into the void with my 104 followers (thank you all, by the way, I'm literally nobody), but I can't be the only person who wants to see a movie about those Iranian pilots flying f-5 fighter jets from the fucking seventies on successful bombing runs against US bases in the gulf.

Watching this has made me cry like a baby. Our generation's moonshot, my kids are here to witness it, humanity's greatest achievement being advanced. Maybe it's gonna all work out okay in the end guys, even if it's difficult.

Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.

Hot take: in principle, the seizure of a sanctioned vessel by 🇺🇸 sets a positive precedent and has implications for potential NATO action against 🇷🇺 shadow fleet tankers which fund Putin's war in 🇺🇦. Recent confrontation with 🇪🇪 show 🇷🇺 to be afraid of this. We should encourage this behaviour.
