AnythingGOEs - Figure Skating

🇯🇵 Ami Nakai I could do a repeat and it was my goal, but more than that, I really wanted to show a performance that I was proud of and satisfied with. I’m really happy to have done both of these. I’m really happy.

Compared to last year at this event, I was just a challenger. I was fearless and going for it. But many things have happened in the last year, I was able to show many good performances in many competitions. But today it was the first time that I felt I was determined to win.

🇬🇪 Anastasiia Gubanova Today I was so nervous. I don’t understand why but I was so scared. It was hard but I did it. And I enjoyed. With one less jumping pass, it wasn’t an issue. It’s interesting because some parts of the program are easier.

🇰🇷 Yuseong Kim I’m happy I landed the 3A. I’ve been trying to take some rest and stretch to make my body move today because it’s been a long day. I’m really satisfied with my short, but there a little bit frustration with the free skate. It was less perfect than the practice.

🇮🇹 Lara Naki Gutmann I think tonight I feel like I found my mindset to go for it. We had a really long day, with the protests in the city, we had to stay at the rink. I tried to take my time and rest. I’m really happy about the program and the public. I just enjoyed it.

🇩🇪 Annika Hocke & Robert Kunkel After the injury and the changes this summer, we are very happy. We know that we can do better for sure, but two weeks ago I couldn’t even do a triple throw, so we’re super happy.

Aleksandra Boikova / Dmitrii Kozlovskii First of all, we want to say thank you to the entire audience for the energy and support they gave us. It was a long pause since our last international competition.

So many years have passed and so many things have changed. We’re happy to show our new selves. Tomorrow you will see the quad throw. We want to show our work, our talent, our programs to the international audience. I can say the same things for all the skaters from my country.
