Central casting couldn’t do this better. This looks exactly like the sort of guys I pictured who would March For Billionaires. I guarantee half of them have a sword collection. www.latimes.com/california/s...
I saw Signs with a full crowd and I’ve never heard a crowd freak out as much as I did during the birthday party video scene.
Raising the always fun question: What are your most memorable theater-going experiences? Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.
Oof! This one hurts. He didn’t die. He just decided it’s time to conquer the Netherworld. deadline.com/2025/12/cary...

Coming Soon: The Ladder Puller starring Sir Michael Caine.
Hmmmm….bleeding out is a hell of a business strategy. Let’s see where it goes.
Exclusive: Anthropic spent $2.66 billion on Amazon Web Services in the first three quarters of 2025, around 100% of their estimated revenue. Its costs appear to increase with their revenue, showing little path to profitability. www.wheresyoured.at/costs/

Call your senators asap. (You can do so via 5calls.org ) and ask them to support Senator Blackburn’s AI amendment! We only need 4 GOP senators and all Dems senators to stop this abomination (amongst many other abominations within that terrible bill)! Let’s go get em!

@ednewtonrex.bsky.social I think Google might owe Toei Animation a check or two. Veo3 (didn’t pay for it, had free credits) gave me Goku twice even though I never mentioned him.

Wired is seriously killing it. Give it a read.
A must-read feature (with heart-stopping design) from the @wired.com team: Elon Musk’s loyalists at DOGE have infiltrated dozens of federal agencies, pushed out thousands of workers, and siphoned millions of people’s most sensitive data. What's next? Unleash the AI. www.wired.com/story/elon-m...
Submitted. There aren’t as many comments as you would think so people should start chiming in now.
Important note on the article, this administration is having open comment concerning their AI plan, and it closes this March 15. With Open Ai advocating for the end of legal protections, might be worthwhile for people and orgs to chime in and fight against that bs. www.whitehouse.gov/briefings-st...
Seriously, screw this guy and his company. The concept of putting a book into an AI and spitting out a movie is asinine and appeals to people with no taste or love of story. Emotionally you’re no better than someone who wants to replace women with lifelike sex dolls.
If you’ve got a non-kindle tablet and you read a lot of ebooks like me this is a great way to support your local bookstore.
I’m probably the millionth person to share this today but I don’t care. It’s worth sharing. RIP David Lynch.
