Okay, but seriously, WHY in 2026 is there games that get released without button remapping? At this point it is the bare minimum in a game, and it not only accessible, but just basic QOL.

Dyslexia diary entry #537: Today I thought I signed an email with "have a lovely week!" What I actually wrote was "have a lonely week!"

That is the Xbox Accessibility controller! Its a easily remappable single thumbstick controller that were recommended to us by @arevya.bsky.social 🤩 We use it mainly for developing Vikings On Trampolines, but now totally works with Owlboy too! 👏

Just want to make it crystal clear, now that Twitch has introduced an AI that learns from the stream and chat: I have turned OFF everything I can! You are safe from crap like that in my community and it is a shame that Twitch made it opt out and not opt in!

note that even if you opt your channel out, your chat messages will still be used to train twitch/amazon's generative AI models if you chat in someone's stream who hasn't opted out. my advice is to be annoying about asking. any streamer who's opted out will be glad to tell you so.

Thank you for the write up on accessibility in my game :) it’s a very fair write-up! The flashing particularly from things like mortar guns is something I hadn’t really considered before. If I think of a good alternative solution to indicate which tiles are hit I will implement a setting to toggle

Last year I ended up in hospital after bouldering. They were not related at all, I just had a really bad flair up, but my brain made me terrified to climb again due to that... Today, one year later, I went back. Nauseous, terrified and shaking, but I did it! I faced my fear and I fucking did it👏
