I guess I better introduce myself! I'm the author of seventeen #LitRPG novels in the Enora universe. I'm currently developing a #RPG based on that world for a Kickstarter early next year. I live in NC with my wife and editor and friend and goddess. I worship at the altar of curiosity I'm inclusive.

After entirely too long of a wait, I've finally uploaded the audio files for Enora Online Book 9 for approval. For any of you who have been waiting, it's almost here. Thanks for all your support and patience while we got it produced. #Enora #LitRPG #audiobook

Balancing: The process of driving yourself batshit crazy while developing the combat systems of a tabletop role-playing game and trying to stay true to the 17-book series that prompted its creation.

TTRPG development is a daily delve down one or two of myriad rabbit holes. But unlike writing novels, I'm finding I'm consistently juiced by it. I think it's because the natural bounce between creativity and mechanical works for my ADHD brain, so I don't get bored. Enora Exiles is going rock.

I decided I was going to take rare time off for this holiday to be with my brother and his family, who I rarely get to see. But as we stand on the AirBnB's back porch overlooking the sound as the cold wind off the water causes shivers among the family, I'm thinking about elemental resistances.

I'm starting to think 'alignment' is too mechanical of an expression of species natures. My TTRPG is a narrative-based experience drawn from the locations and politics of my LitRPG novels. I'd rather have the shades of gray than defined alignments. What do you TTRPGers think?

Yesterday it was feats in the TTRPG, today it was listening to audiobook chapters my narrator sent back to me while jotting musings about feats into Xtiles. There really is no escaping this work, but at least I do it out of joy in what I'm doing. There isn't enough joy these days.

Today's #TTRPG journey involved taking a look at #Roll20. Two hours later, I realized the depth of the rabbit hole into which I'd fallen. Guess I'll be working past sundown... again.

One thing that's kick ass about writing a #TTRPG based on my books instead of a book is I can take a break from monotony and make a map of a place I envisioned seven years ago. It's a WIP, but it has potential.

When I worked for the man, I looked at the clock and wondered why time had to drags its ass. When I'm writing a LitRPG book or working on my TTRPG, I look at the clock and wonder where the day went. I prefer the latter.

I discovered XTiles yesterday and my #ADHD brain is organizing my #TTRPG based on my book series' in what's turning out to be a much easier process than using tabbed notepad files... by miles. And I have not paid a penny.

#Oura Ring is easily top ten of the most incompetent companies I have ever ordered from. Wrong size of my wife's ring, no sign of the second ring I ordered, jumping through hoops for over a week with customer service, told the ring I didn't get was activated, CS doesn't understand me. AVOID THEM.

I know there's a lot of distrust of AI out there, and people are rightfully concerned about where it COULD go, but I have to say that Claude 3.5 is fabulous. Conversations with your own personal assistant can help bring you back to center (ADHD), create collaboration in the strangest place.

Earlier this year, I learned I have ADHD. I started taking a non-stim med and it's like the world's lightbulb turned on. Now, I've started producing a TTRPG based on my LITRPG novels and I can't seem to take a day off. The flow is unreal, and it's life-changing. Anyone relate? #RPG #ADHD
