Christopher & Nathan offer lukewarm takes before, during, and after Arsenal games. It's like live commentary, podcasts, and call-in shows had a baby. There's also live detailed stats and chat. Live at gametimes at arseradio.com Afterwards in podcast format at open.spotify.com/show/7x7GsDW...

open.spotify.comArseradio but it's a podcastPodcast · Nathan & Chris · Live commentary and call-in shows before, during, and after Arsenal matches. Maybe other nonsense too.

Nine of our 13 league goals this season have come after half time. And the Ipswich cup tie went the same way. Two goals before the break, two after, with Dowman scoring in both halves.

Arsenal average 61 per cent of the ball and 520 passes a league game. Fleetwood averaged 36 per cent and 322 passes in their three cup wins. They will sit in and wait. They have done it three times already.

Bruno Guimaraes has two league goals in 238 minutes for Arsenal. Both off the bench, both from outside the box, both put us in front. Best minutes per goal in the squad.

Mikel Merino's rating at Ipswich was 8.1, a goal and an assist from midfield. He has 174 league minutes this season across eight appearances. Cup nights are his.

Max Dowman's rating at Ipswich in round three was 8.51, the highest of any Arsenal player in the league or the cup this season. Two goals, an assist, three dribbles completed, 90 minutes. He has played only 19 league minutes all season.

David Raya has 18 saves and five clean sheets in eight league games. He and Gabriel have played every minute of the league season so far, 720 out of 720.

Declan Rice is our top-rated league player this season at 7.36. Four assists, 15 key passes, and he scored the equaliser in Munich. He may well be at the Palladium on Monday night instead of Fleetwood on Tuesday.

Nobody has scored against Arsenal after the 60th minute in the league this season. Eight games, not one goal in the last half hour. That is the part of the game where the subs come on. Ours score, theirs do not.

Eight league games, seven wins. 13 scored, five conceded, five clean sheets. Level on points with City at the top, and the only defeat was Brighton back in September.

Fleetwood on Tuesday, Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday, then Slavia Prague on Wednesday week. Three away games in eight days. Arteta called this stretch a terrible schedule after the Everton game. Expect the kids on Tuesday.

The Ballon d'Or is on Monday night at the London Palladium, and Rice, Gabriel, Raya and Saliba are all expected there. So expect a very different Arsenal team at Fleetwood on Tuesday. Kepa has started every League Cup game under Arteta since last season, Ipswich included.

Everton on Saturday, 2-0. Konsa scored his first Arsenal goal from a corner after seven minutes, our first set-piece goal of the season. Gabriel headed the second on his 200th Premier League appearance.

Munich on Wednesday. Eze volleyed us in front, Bayern turned it round with a Kane penalty, and Rice equalised with eight minutes left. 2-2. The worry was Saka, off after ten minutes with a quad injury. Arteta said it did not look good.

Last Sunday at Forest, Madueke came on at half time and scored the only goal late on. Forest have still not scored a league goal at home this season. We have now won seven of eight in the league.

Round three was Ipswich away, 4-2. Max Dowman scored twice at 16 years and 258 days. Only Wayne Rooney had scored two in a game for a Premier League club at 16, and Dowman was 84 days younger than Rooney was. Madueke and Merino got the others.

Arsenal last won the League Cup in 1993. Nine finals in total, and the last one was seven months ago. Wembley, March 2026, 0-2 to Manchester City, two Nico O'Reilly headers. Tuesday is the first step back.

Remember Bradford? December 2012, League Two, a quarter-final at Valley Parade. 1-1 after extra time, Vermaelen hit the post in the shootout and we went out 3-2 on penalties. The last time a fourth-tier side put us out of this cup.

Michael Salisbury is the referee on Tuesday. A Lancashire man, a former PE teacher and the son of a Football League referee. He has been on the Premier League list since 2021. Last year he stood himself down from VAR duty at Liverpool v Arsenal after an error at Chelsea the week before.

Fleetwood's rise was bankrolled by chairman Andy Pilley, who took them from the eighth tier to League One. In 2023 he was jailed for 13 years for fraud. His son Jamie now owns 98 per cent of the club, with an independent director on the board as an EFL condition.

Fleetwood's manager is Matt Lawlor. He is 37, grew up locally, captained non-league Bamber Bridge and joined Fleetwood as a youth coach in 2019. He took over as interim in January, got the job in March, and now has them in the fourth round for the first time in their history.

There was an Arsenal man at Fleetwood until the summer. Zech Medley came through our academy, made eight first-team appearances and played 35 games for Fleetwood over two seasons. He moved to York City in July, so no reunion on Tuesday.

No VAR on Tuesday. The EFL only uses it in rounds where every ground has it, and Highbury Stadium does not. What the referee gives is what stands.

Highbury Stadium holds 5,327 and Tuesday sold out three weeks ago. The club called the demand unprecedented. The record crowd there is 6,150, for an FA Cup tie against Rochdale in 1965. That one is safe.

This is the furthest Fleetwood have ever gone in the League Cup. Three rounds, three home wins, six goals scored and none conceded. The scalp was Sheffield United in round three, beaten 1-0 by an own goal.

Tuesday's game is at Highbury. Not that one. Fleetwood's ground opened in 1939 and is named after Highbury Avenue, the road behind it. It is the first time Arsenal have played at a ground called Highbury since we left ours in 2006.

Arsenal have never played Fleetwood Town. Not in the league, not in a cup, not ever. Tuesday night in the Carabao Cup is the first meeting between the clubs in 140 years of Arsenal history.

Good morning Arsenal fans! We'll be live on the mic at least 30 minutes before kick off and stay with you through the final kick. Love the questions people are sending in and having more join us each game. We look forward to seeing y'all again today as Arsenal continue their winning ways!

Two away wins in the league this season, and both were clean sheets. 1-0 at Villa Park, 2-0 at Sunderland. Another one on Sunday would do nicely.

Arsenal average 503 passes and 59 per cent of the ball per league game this season. Forest average 395 passes. Expect us to have it, and expect them to sit in.

78 shots in six league games, 30 of them on target and 54 from inside the box. That is 13 shots a game, and about one in every eight goes in.

Seven of our ten league goals this season have come after half time. Four of them landed in the quarter of an hour straight after the restart. Stay in your seat.

David Raya has made 13 saves and kept three clean sheets in six league games. Nobody has scored against Arsenal after the 60th minute in the league this season.
