Can I just say how weird it is that Sarv, Ruv, and Selever are iirc, the ONLY OCs not allowed to be in FNF mods still? Like, we're at a time where Whitty, Sky, Tabi, and Agoti ALL have the A-OK again, but as recently as Retrospecter P2, the MFM crew STILL hafta be excluded as mod cameos

It just gets strange after a point, imo, where everyone else has agreed to let the community play with the toys they made (conditionally in Whitty's case), but then Mike Genow's still in the corner stubbornly clinging onto the ones they have because?? They just can't let go of the spite ig???

Hot take: Metal Cap is the most aura-carried Mario powerup in the whole franchise The idea of turning solid metal and being immune to all damage while its incredible theme from Mario 64 plays in the background is just- IMPOSSIBLE to not find cool (Plus its in the Smash series just makes it cooler)

...But realistically, it's VERY much a lock & key sort of powerup. Need to walk underwater/ignore currents? Metal cap nearby, EZ. Then you don't even actually NEED to use it in those cases since every star that requires that stuff can be cheesed without it pretty easily iirc
