i watched nine episodes of the 90s cgi show "reboot" while painting red tipped hair on my 2003 neopets oc (it was glorious) i have to remake his petpet but praedius himself is now finished. real pics soon!!

i still have to put a mid tone between the light and dark greys, but boy oh boy he's looking more and more like himself with every hour i put in! i've worked about four hours a day on him since september 20, skipping only a few days. making art with my hands feels great, dang!!

ah yes, the explanation for the weirdly-posed arm, finally! they are united at last! though i dropped his spyder again (he's weighted weird ok??) and broke both his little hairs off the top, so i think i'll just remake him.

i think either tonight or tomorrow should be Baking Day for this boy, because his pant straps are all that's left to make. excited to finally be able to hold him in my hands after basically building all of him directly on this plate! i'll get to see how undetailed the underside is, haha

originally i was going to use real metal jump rings to do the hardware on his tripp(style) pants but they weren't really the right size, and also silver sculpey exists. the straps have been uncooperative so far, but that doesn't matter. i'll figure them out.

the last major thing to sculpt on my praedius figurine is his hair, which i did not want to start so late last night after work, so i did his little dog bone necklace instead. i didn't even touch the red clay and everything is still tinged pink, so i think i'll have to do a lot of painting. 💅💅💅

the Sensory Rooms vrchat world by kewlbunny got a big update! I spent a TON of time in there when it was new. I played the update for almost two hours last night, but my game crashed and I hadn’t saved for most of it. u_u can’t wait to get off work and regain my lost progress!!
