Usually I ask people when they order stuff, Um, what's it for? but this client had already bought a big thing from my store, so I figured it was a fellow Big Things person. I'll ask and see if there's a weirder story, but to me, a giant brain is within the realm of normal.

I taught two VTA transit workers how to sew tonight and got excited to ask them about their jobs, that my husband was gonna be excited. They somewhat warily said, "We've never met a... fan before." And they promised me some transit swag. :)
