If someone offered you a bag of legal money, you wouldn’t turn it down and say the next person will be so lucky to get it.

The truth is for whatever reason that person just doesn’t do it for you and that’s ok to say but it feels a little patronizing to try to comfort them with tales of some other man being lucky to have them. In the moment that shit don’t matter cause they want you not some future person

A lot of relationships, romantic and otherwise, are people trying to maintain their goodness. Trying hard not to be the villain in someone’s story.
