Found this childhood picture with my grandpa at his loom. He wove rag rugs, and I remember helping cut strips of fabric for weaving when I visited. This weekend, I started rug weaving with recycled denim.

My favorite find at Otakon today was this Garashir pin from @gryphll.bsky.social 😍

#TourdeFleece day 20 So happy with how these turned out

#TourdeFleece Day 16

Realized I took a pic of a #TourdeFleece skein from a couple days ago and forgot to post it. I love the subtle bi pride color pooling that’s happening in this one.

#TourdeFleece Day 14 Been waiting to spin these merino braids. Halfway done~

#TourdeFleece Day 11

#TourdeFleece day 7: Finished the purple braid on the left, started the grey merino

Day 4 #TourdeFleece Working on a merino/bamboo blend. 2oz down, 2 to go, then I plan to spin the grey merino in the pic and ply both together.

Stanley Tucci held a door open for me when I was leaving a museum

Had some fun with the 3D printer tricking out my espinner with custom accessories, and they look so lovely with this fiber color

no star wars. no star trek. name a favorite sci-fi franchise.

My Neve lanyard arrived and I love her so much 💚💙 @ouroridae.bsky.social

In other news, I discovered my town has a creative reuse center (goodwill but for crafts) and I just unloaded a decade’s worth of art supplies there.

Just got a B&N email with “Dramione-inspired fiction” and I miss the days when fanfic-inspired stuff was more of a wink-nudge thing that wasn’t openly advertised

If I’m not posting as much about politics, it’s not that I don’t care. It’s just that I am utterly exhausted and trying to preserve and control what I can. I can only let so much rage in before it consumes me. So my focus is on creating, imagining, and loving as fiercely as I can.

I won a Birdfy bird feeder through a work holiday party and it’s been delightful seeing the birds that visit it. Though I did have to mix cayenne pepper into the seeds to try to prevent the squirrels from eating it all.

#VeilguardSpoilers Considering you can still interact with Teia and Viago if you save Minrathous, I don’t see a huge gameplay benefit (personal Rook motivations or romance path notwithstanding) to saving Treviso. It seems like you’re losing so many Minrathous sidequests and NPCs. 😮‍💨

Cried through half of The Wild Robot, so that was good

Some of these are fascinating 🧐 (who isn’t playing rock paper scissors with Manfred though??)

Me: ok that's everything in the dishwasher *presses start and turns around* Teaspoon: you're not gonna believe this

I'm not particularly superstitious, but I do hold on to this one irrationality: the burning of the goat DOES matter. My argument is that it hasn't burned for years now and shit keeps getting steadily worse. It was eaten by crows last year, but clearly that wasn't good enough.

I needed to scratch the itch to draw Lucanis in this outfit... [ #art | #dragonage | #dragonagetheveilguard | #lucanis ]

My poor cat had to have dental surgery today and get several teeth extracted (including her top fangs) and she’s so hungry but so doped up on anesthetic that she’s face-planting into her food and not able to eat it 😭😭😭

I have so much to do between cleaning the house, working on coursework, and prepping pie crusts and food ahead of thanksgiving, but my dumb little lizard brain is like “what if we started designing our next Rook instead?”

More handwoven scarves that are finished.

I finished Dragon Age: The Veilguard 😭😭😭😭😭😭

Reached the point of no return in Dragon Age: The Veilguard after not being able to play for the last three days. We’ll see if I can finish it tomorrow…

I did this on purpose AND I'D DO IT AGAIN

I am, once again, crawling back after falling off with posting here for a while 🥲 I offer my finished origins romance set in apology #DragonAge

#DragonAgeVeilguard neve gallus my absolute beloved

Lucanis would do all these things except he wouldn’t *boil* water because he’d be affronted at the idea of boiling coffee #DragonAgeVeilguard

Just some good ol Dorian to bless your tl. Outfit inspired by concept art in the art book. #DragonAge

Updated my artwork of Taash! #dragonage #dragonagetheveilguard

Making my dad a scarf in Harley-Davidson colors but whoops it’s accidentally a Haikyuu scarf

67 hours into Veilguard, finally have hero status for two companions. Gotta get as far as I can tomorrow because I won’t be able to finish any quests this weekend (Emi is going out of town and she’s been watching the whole playthrough)

I'm 90 hours into Veilguard and just realized that Rook can float! Jump + hold ranged attack to activate. Most pronounced for mages, rogues somewhat less.

Working on weaving scarves for family Christmas gifts this year, and here are two that are now blocked and finished. Playing around with multicolored warps and twill. #weaving #fiberarts

Soooooo those Lighthouse mural lore reveals? 👀 (now I’m thinking about all the murals Solas painted in Inquisition) #DragonAgeVeilguard

Taash is a bad influence on The Baby (Manfred) and Emmrich will not let that stand #DragonAgeVeilguard
