I just watched Johari put in an amazing effort to make the DJs' experience for #Aurawra as easy as possible. Making sure we were taken care of and had plenty of support and had whatever we needed. Making everyone feel wanted and valued and cared for. Really really considerate. ❤️

Furality Ultra has been a labour of love for the team for the better part of a year. I was involved from the initial concept point this time, and seeing the result and how much joy it has brought the community has made me so happy.

There are so many names I could mention! I want to thank you privately if I haven't done so already. Ultimately, I feel incredibly grateful to be surrounded by such passionate people who love the community too and who also want to make things that bring people joy.

I also co-ran a panel with @larka.bsky.social, @manokits.bsky.social, and @kaletail.bsky.social! We wanted to help experienced DJs lift their work to the next level. I loved working with you all! ❤️ @natethemoth.bsky.social, thank you for being a wonderful coordinator. You made the process easy!

I like doing this because I can see that what we collectively create is meaningful to people. That makes it worth it! It makes me so happy to see other people happy, and I am very grateful I was able to play a part in that.

If you enjoyed Furality, I'm delighted I got to be a part of bringing you that experience! Time now to rest. (Well, maybe after finalising the soundtrack~)

I also want to mention @starport55.bsky.social, @tobassett.com, @windyote.bsky.social, and @happyrobot33.bsky.social, whom I shared the creative process with for the fireworks show. We created something special together, didn't we? It was wonderful to work with friends like you.

@kashikoi.isadragon.fyi, no, I won't let you be credited for only the (wonderful) voiceover when you did so much more. Thank you.

I also assisted on sound design wherever our lead sound designer, @darelt.bsky.social, needed me to. Darelt was wonderful to work alongside, and was incredibly conscientious and reliable. Darelt—frankly, you're an awesome person.

In addition to this, I got to perform as a DJ! Omg. I loved bringing progressive metal to the convention. @boxerfox.bsky.social and @pammematth.bsky.social created some wonderful lighting and visuals, and I heard so many kind words about their work. @value.gay assembled it all together with flair!

This year, I created most of the convention's in-world music. My goal was to help create the right *atmosphere* for our worlds brought from imagination to reality in VR. @hiyu.bsky.social's music sets a high bar for that atmosphere, so I am honoured that Hiyu placed his trust in me for this.

I wrote a fair amount that didn't end up being used in-world, so I'm grateful Video Production found uses for those in places like the closing ceremonies! And I worked on the club intro music, music played between DJ sets, and something that will appear at a point after I post this.

I watched my Creative Team friends push though to solve showstopping problems and I have to tell you that their perserverence was legendary—far beyond any reasonable expectation. To me, that is an incredible expression of love for the community.

I am honoured to work alongside some of the most dedicated and capable people I've ever met. Furality is such an amazing thing to be part of! So much effort, but so rewarding.

It has been an enormous amount of work to put together. For my part, I put in everything I possibly could and there was still more I would have liked to do. Things did not go to plan the whole time.

Can't wait to bring you something special alongside @dieselsaurus.bsky.social and Glitch! Thank you for inviting me, Aurawra. ❤️💛❤️
