Feels so special to be able to hold Penitents by @mads.haus in my hands. The first time I read any of this book was in my apartment in NP. I had no idea just two years later I would be reading it on a bus in VanWa. Throwback to when we climbed the column, and 🧵

I see so many memes about how mad sbux baristas get when you don't tip them and I' being so serious when I say I work at an entire district and no one thinks about the tips at all we all get like $20 a week each

I feel like I've become a better writter this year. Writing about music on an occasional, when I'm asked/when I'm inspired basis helped me become a lot better i think.

I've spent most of the end of the last year/all of this year working on a handful of different fiction projects and, more recently, """lyrics""" which I used to do in hs but I finally feel like I'm getting better at.

Keep thinking of ways I can share these things before any of them are actually done and I think having patience for myself is key. But im in a monologue mood lately. Will probably write a longer blog on the astertracks blogspot soon, at least.

We got into AEW right when Pac returned. The found family, DIY, biker stuff was what I always sort of pictured wrestling to be and I think I grew to understand the sport and the ethos by watching them specifically.

Mox always talks about doing everything with purpose, and for the past few days with Pac being gone I keep asking myself "why?" For everything. Its very clear that, beyond a character either portrayed, they both had that spirit.

I cannot imagine being on AEW at all right now but I cannot imagine being a Death Rider harder. To have to do that first walk without him, and every one after.

the more unfinished projects you have the better. the bigger your graveyard the more strange zombies you can sew together from the body parts. do not feel self-conscious about it. just keep making.

Just listen to stuff. The band you never heard of opening for your favorite? Have music out. The artist you assume is a plant cause they have a festival slot? Look it up, check yourself, try it out anyway. That feature you like but never heard their real music? Well guess what?

But also vet that stuff. Some of them are plants, some of them were outed as abusers a decade ago and trying to obscure it. I think what gets lost is most of them probably are not.
