It took them the better part of two decades concern trolling, sending attack ads, biasing news coverage, and straight up lying to shift the Overton Window irt immigration to the point where they could enact their brutal master plan. Now, the narrative has fallen apart in less than two months.

Don't fall into the rhetorical trap of focusing on exactly how innocent & likeable ICE's victims are. Even if they actually stuck to targeting (and harming) undocumented people with criminal history, ignoring bystanders, their methods would still be unacceptable and their mission inherently evil.

Last week, they (nonlethally) shot someone in North MPLS. The victim was not an American citizen. His safety and security from government thugs matters too.

Our national government is so terminally online that they can't even conceive the idea of opposition being driven by anything other than social media brainrot. They never spare a thought for their own neighbors, how could they possibly understand us when we stand up for ours?

Everyone I know wants the same thing: for things to be 'normal' again, to no longer be under attack. But we've been taught, by example (since 2020 at least), that the only way to achieve this is to give a forceful 'No' and to ensure bad actors receive actual consequences.

Not to say things in MN were perfect before—but it's a place I'm proud to call home, and I can picture a future here free of shootings, abductions, hate crimes, & other traumas that have lodged themselves into our society lately. We're hurting, and we just want it all to end.
