Watching the #Katrina documentary on #Netflix, and I’m reminded that we can build detention centers for people we don’t want here, but we can’t build shelters to house people who’ve been here for generations. 🤔

I'd just like to point out how weird it is that places with hundreds or even thousands of reporters — the NYT, WaPo, CBS, NBC, AP, etc. — are all getting pummeled on every major story by the dozen computerboys at Wired. To fumble the bag this consistently is, at some point, cowardice and a choice.

I don’t necessarily enjoy #LinkedIn, but I’m somewhat jealous of people who get to openly brag about their team. Yes, I know I could be bragging about my own work, but that feels gross. Instead, I just don’t use it because I don’t have teammates that do anything worthy of praise. And that sucks.
