Anybody else notice and concerned about the repetition of the phrase "American voters have given this administration a MANDATE" troubling. I've heard the word mandate repeatedly used by various members of Trump's administration and heard Tulsi repeatedly use it during her confirmation hearing.

I love The West Wing and The Newsroom, but they break my heart. It shows me what politics and news coverage could have/should have been like if the parties involved had any integrity left.

It's curious to me that the anti-trans movement never kept that same sort of energy for "Trophy Parents." The parents that will literally overwork, underfeed or overfeed, and abuse their kids in the hopes that they'll someday be great at sports.
