NEW: Sec. Kennedy is allowing broad access to unapproved peptide injections in what appears to be a unilateral action. FDA scientists had advised against these, inc. one peptide used in greyhound racing. www.nytimes.com/2026/10/28/h...

Trying to figure out where to put my bins without blocking anyone in including myself. Car on left is 1 of 2, but it’s mostly in front of the neighbor’s house and they own it. Right is 1 of 1, in front of my house but belonging to someone across the street. Already has two buns behind it.

When the professor says “choose a topic we’ve discussed that interests you for your research paper” and you’re thinking “yeah, but none of it interested me enough to go back and look up more information on it.”

Shake Hands with Danger (1980) Directed by Herk Harvey Written by John Clifford - BOTD in 1918 Prior to collaborating on this notorious work safety film, Harvey and Clifford teamed up to create the no budget horror masterpiece Carnival of Souls (1962)

Single player. I don’t want to be responsible for anyone’s success or failure besides me if it’s a team game, and if they’re my opponents, they’re generally assholes.

Would you rather play a single player game or multiplayer?

I remember my mom asking me once if I was trans because I was adopted and I just 🤦‍♀️. In retrospect, a lot of things my parents didn’t understand about me ended up being attributed to being adopted.

Oh, sure, when they do it it’s called “pheromone-maxxing” but when I do it it’s called “you okay?” and “snap out of it” and “you really need to talk to your therapist” and then I just get Febreze-maxxed by my wife.

Not showering, wearing sweaty clothes and even drinking urine before going on dates. 'Pheromone-maxxing' is the latest trend on social media, but what does the science say?

Had to head up to Flower Mound today for mostly non-nefarious reasons. Saw a lot of Paxton signs, as expected. But it made me realize- I don’t see them in FW. Like, at all. Plenty of Abbott signs, but I haven’t seen KPax. Plenty of Talarico though. And more Hinojosa signs than I’d expect.

Worked for a full Zacharia in the kitchen at Denny’s during breakfast when I was 20. One day of training, then I was flying solo. Had the weekend off, did not return. Was also cured of any desire to become a professional chef.

Love to see my hometown in the news. Really love seeing my high school in the news. Denise Rodrigue would have never stood for this interference. Y’all don’t know how many girls we had playing guys in Fiddler on the Roof. And not just the uncracked eggs.

A Texas district canceled a high school production of "Little Shop of Horrors" after a girl was cast as Seymour. Officials cited the state's anti-drag law (which was struck down in court), then offered other lazy excuses. What a debacle. www.friendlyatheist.com/p/texas-scho...

The Doc & I bonded over the audiobooks & movies when we were dating. I had plenty of merch, from toys to clothes. We even did a JKR tour in Edinburgh and the WB HP studio tour in London. All of it in the bin now, and I cringe when I see it astroTERFed onto just about anything. Just a Kunt, Really.

Welcome to #TransTuesday! There is NO ethical consumption of Harry Potter Not the books, movies, or tv show. Not licensed games or merch. Not fanfic. Not even pirated. EVERY bit keeps the franchise alive and enables JKR's transphobia If you truly care about trans people, you need to let it die

I don’t remember *not* knowing I was weird, honestly. My parents picked that up pretty early.

Gail Simone@gailsimone.bsky.social

QUESTION OF THE DAY: This sounds like a joke question, but it isn’t. If it doesn’t apply to you, fine. But it’s a serious question with different levels of meaning. And I am genuinely curious. When did you first realize you were weird?

Straight Men have never seen a space they didn't want to demand entry into, nor a person they didn't demand must be attracted to them

I’m generally anti-gun, but I could be talked into making an exception for one of these. I do find it hilarious that they’re apparently not allowed to use the name of the movie that basically made it famous.
