Let me get this straight. RFK,Jr. is going after antidepressants. And, the right wants us to believe that guns don't kill people, people kill people. Depression is anger turned inward so, let's take antidepressants away from depressed people so they can kill more people with guns?

Some cultures are collective in nature. People in collective cultures see themselves as part of a cohesive group. They have a "we" mentality. The US is a highly individualistic culture. We have an "I" "me" mentality. We lack the social construct to take care of each other. Trump used that to win.

We required separate bathrooms for men & women since 1887 due to anxiety about women's roles & the rise of the Separate Sphere Ideology ...a belief men & women had distinct roles in society: Women belonged at home & men belonged outside. Many countries have 1 bathroom for all sexes. Welcome to 1887.

The World Happiness Report says the US fell to #23 in terms of happiness, behind Norway, the Netherlands, Denmark, Iceland, et.al. The happiest countries have capitalist economies & democratic governments, but provide essential tools for success - tools that American conservatives call 'socialist.'

High airfares? Airlines merged from 12 to 4 today. High drug cost? From 1995-2015, 60 drug makers merged into 10. High food cost. 4 companies control 85% of beef processing, 70% of pork market & 54% of poultry; 3 grocery giants control 70% of sales in 167 cities. They raise prices cuz they can!
