‼️For our final invited speaker interview, we talked with the amazing Titia Sixma about her work on the role of ubiquitin in DNA regulation, and some #AusUb2025 highlights. Thank you to everyone who came, it was an amazing conference and a great chance to see the breadth of global ubiquitin research!

‼️Towards the end of #AusUb25, we caught up with Jonathan Pruneda to discuss ubiquitin signalling and its relationship with host-pathogen interactions. It was an amazing conference and such a great chance to meet people from across the ubiquitin field 🤩

‼️Have a listen to a little about Kylie Walter’s exciting new research, conference talk, and her experience at #AusUb2025. What did she enjoy most about the conference? More interviews to come in the next week so stay tuned 😁

It’s hard to believe that #AusUb2025 has already come to an end 😢. Don’t worry though - we’ll still be posting our speaker interviews in the next couple of days. Here’s what Sonja Lorenz thought of the Australian Ubiquitin Summit. 👇

What a fantastic few days at The *inaugural* Australian Ubiquitin Summit 🤩 #UbiquitinByTheBay It was fun to contribute behind the scenes in the lead-up, help chair the opening session, host lightning talks, and dive into conversations during the poster session and EMCR panel discussions.

That was our last presentation session at #AusUb2025!!! 🥳We explored the role of #ubiquitin in different diseases, from cancer to chicken pox. A huge thank you to our final speakers: Sandra Nicholson, Yi-Ching Wang, Anindita Puri and Ruey-Hwa Chen.

The last session during the #TPD day at #AusUb2025 explored the Translational Journey of TPD. Gwenn Hansen and Kanae Gamo both gave great talks on the topic. While the presentations of the day are all finished, the long anticipated EMCR panel discussion is coming next! #ubiquitin

Very nice presentation by Phil Chamberlain from Neomorph to kick off the TPD day today at @ausub.bsky.social #AusUb2025 #LorneUbiquitin2025 From the fundamentals of glues to identifying more in the proteome to glue

Continuing on with our TPD-themed day at #AusUb2025, we just had amazing talks on ‘the Frontiers of Innovation in TPD’ from Eric Fischer, Fleur Ferguson, Johannes Yeh, Man Pan, and Mikihiko Naito. #ubiquitin #TPD #targetedproteindegradation

Time to find out what’s the newest insight on the #ubiquitin-proteosome degradation system from our speakers: Shang-Te (Danny) Hsu, Yasushi Saeki, Indrajit Sahu, and Kylie Walters. While this is our last talk session of Day 2 at #AusUb2025, science goes on at the poster session…

Is there any biomolecule thats not #Ubiquitinated ? 🫣 It was super fun to chair my fav session on 'Ubiquitinating EVERYthing' during the kickstart event of #AusUb2025

#AusUb25 kicked off with an amazing session on ‘Ubiquitinating Things’. Thank you to all speakers: Brenda Schulman, Jonathan Pruneda, Satpal Virdee, Andrii Gorelik, and Yukiko Yoshida!

How cool was it to hear the ‘From glycogen to ubiquitin and back again’ story from Professor Sir Philip Cohen (FRS FRSE FAA FFMedSci), a pioneer in ubiquitin research. It was such a pleasure to have him deliver the keynote presentation on Day 1 of #AusUb2025.

Sir Philip Cohen presenting on the intersection between glycogen metabolism and ubiquitination From insulin signaling to glycogen Really appreciate the historical tour of ubiquitin in innate immunity @ausub.bsky.social #ubiquitin #AusUb2025 #LorneUbiquitin2025
