I go by Vandy, I’m a hobbyist illustrator with a particular enjoyment of drawing monsters and all sorts of manner of creatures. I am currently collaborating on a series of children’s books called ADVENTURE ACE. I also love to make my own original characters and other cartoonish nonsense.

Perhaps one day il find myself back to being more excitable and sociable online. Experiences over the years have kind of just left me feeling detached and unable to comment on things I probably should a lot. It’s less something is wrong and more general malaise I think

I mean on the plus side I’m drawing a lot, got another Adventure Ace books in the works so it’s not pure doom and gloom. Still got my streams where I feel comfortable and able to be excitable. I just can’t seem to bring myself to be that ways via text and posts as much anymore.

Sadly it seems that “You’ve Seen This…Right?” will be going on an indefinite hiatus. Thanks everyone who checked out the show and gave us a listen. The YouTube channel will stay up but no further episodes will be produced.

Rusty is a very cool game that anyone who likes classic Castlevania and 80’s anime should pick up. But dang I got to the final stretch and had to put it down for things because a 3 part auto scrolling clock tower level is a big ask!

Bummed to hear about the all meta stuff. I dunno if il delete it all since I kind of like Insta but places to share are getting sparse and it’s like yeah blogs are always an option but it’s hard enough to get people to venture out of their preferred social media platforms to check things out so 🤷‍♂️

Sharing art online has kind of just been on a downward spiral since before X when you consider the amount of alternative platforms that just went nowhere. It’s fascinating how things are both spread out too much but also centralized at the same time in a sense.

That being said it’s important to keep drawing, keep creating regardless. Human made art is needed and will never go out of style because no one is going to remember some churned out slop over actual hand created works in the long run

On a personal note. EA’s stranglehold on the Star Wars license was one of the worst things ever and it’s a shame to think that unlike the prequel era where the movies might not have been universally loved but the games were high points couldn’t have happened during the sequel era
