A security vulnerability doesn't require malicious code or a hidden backdoor. Sometimes the vulnerability is the ability to turn the system off. Ukraine just learned that. Every U.S. ally is watching.

During my time at the National Security Council, my colleagues and I worked to persuade European allies to reject Huawei’s 5G technology. The concern was not simply that Huawei was a Chinese company, or that we distrusted Beijing. open.substack.com/pub/alexande...

Remote access, software updates, and privileged administrative controls can become vulnerabilities if a supplier—or the government capable of compelling that supplier—chooses to exploit them.

It was that telecommunications infrastructure is foundational to modern society and national defense. Whoever controls critical components of that infrastructure may possess capabilities that extend far beyond the product being sold.

Who would've ever thought that a Jewish refugee would make it to the U.S. Army, to the White House, and to becoming a candidate for the U.S. Senate. Only in America is that possible, and it would not have been possible without you, Florida.

I still believe in the American Dream, because I've lived it. It's worth fighting for. Rep. Nixon ran a strong campaign. I will be standing by her side in the fight against Ashley Moody. I hope you'll join me.

Election Day is tomorrow, and I couldn't be more proud of the grassroots movement we have built across the state of Florida.  Everywhere I turn, one thing is clear: Floridians are ready for the change, and I’m ready to deliver.

To all the folks who have come out to support us so far in this race, thank you. I’m proud of the campaign we’ve built, and I’m honored to have the support of Floridians who believe in my plan for our future.

Thank you, Rev. Father Jean-Mary and Pastor Jackson, and the congregations of Notre-Dame d’Haiti Catholic Church and New Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, for opening your doors and welcoming me into this morning’s services. I’m running to fight for a better Florida for all of us.

Career politicians like Ashley Moody have looked the other way while corporations jack up prices and pad their profits.  As Senator, I’ll be laser-focused on cutting your costs, and I’ll always put you first.

I can’t believe my daughter Ellie started 10th grade this week — this pic feels like it was taken just yesterday.  I hope everyone had a great first week back to school. I’m fighting for all of our kids to be able to access a good education and afford to chase their dreams in Florida.

My dad's union job made our American Dream possible. Today, I’m honored to receive the endorsements of CWA Florida and the American Federation of Government Employees. As Senator, I will always fight to protect workers and strengthen unions.

Millions of Floridians rely on Social Security to survive, yet Ashley Moody voted for a bill to fast-track it towards insolvency. As Senator, I'll fight to protect the program — starting with my plan to ensure the wealthiest pay their fair share.

The reports coming out about conditions aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln are beyond unacceptable. I am keeping the sailors and their families in my thoughts. I'm a 21-year combat veteran. Making sure our service members are treated with dignity and respect is non-negotiable.

Ashley Moody sits on the Armed Services Committee, but she has utterly failed to stick up for our men and women in uniform. She hasn’t just been silent, but she’s continued to vote for forever wars that put our troops in danger. Veterans in Florida deserve more.

We’ve held hundreds of events across the state, talking with supporters and hearing about the type of leader they want in the Senate. Floridians are done with career politicians — they want someone who will actually get things done.

Health care costs are out of control in Florida, and corrupt career politicians like Ashley Moody have failed to rein them in. Folks shouldn’t have to break the bank to get the care they need — I’m running to ensure health care is affordable for all Floridians.

Floridians want a Senator who will deliver for them, but Ashley Moody only delivers for special interests. She approved the transfer of $10 million away from a children’s Medicaid fund, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
