Rewatching the Ilja-Speedball match from Wednesday and yes Ilja is 1000% as advertised but more should be said about what a generational talent Speedball is. No one does the shit they do, no one sells like they do, a strong case could be made that Speedball is the heart of AEW

I genuinely believe that if the lighting and cameras were worse on #ROH people's main takeaway would be that it feels the way it used to pre-AEW. I just think it's too associated with its indie roots as a brand and the high quality presentation feels deeply at odds with that. #WatchROH
