IconVectors 1.60 is here 🚀 Auto Gradient, editable dashed & dotted strokes, Fit Icon to Canvas, precision zoom, and smarter centering — all designed to make SVG icon editing faster and cleaner. Now available for Windows. iconvectors.io/news/2026-06...

An icon can look balanced on its own and feel out of place beside a label. Before choosing a set, try five icons in your toolbar. Check their weight, spacing and contrast in light and dark themes. Judge them at the size people will actually use.

Same icon. Same sharpness. Wrong position. A 1 px shift produced 42 differing alpha pixels in our controlled test. Compensating for the shift reduced that to zero. When testing icon placement, compare the original coordinates too. Alignment can hide the change you need to catch.

One SVG needs a stroke fix. Another has a stray anchor. A third is off-grid. The edits are small. Repeating “open, save, close, find the next file” is what breaks the flow. Auto-save when opening the next icon makes reviewing a folder feel less like managing files.

Same icon, different background. This short demo shows how IconVectors 2.10 turns a dark SVG icon into a lighter version for dark interfaces, using “Make Dark Theme Version”.

Pick a color once. Keep it while you edit. In IconVectors 2.10, selecting another element doesn’t replace your chosen color. Left-click for fill. Right-click for stroke. Handy when recoloring an icon piece by piece.

Adjusting rounded corners one by one gets tedious. In IconVectors 2.10, select several corners and drag one rounding handle to adjust them together. Handy when refining a folder, shield or other geometric icon.

What does your app’s language selector look like? A flag feels familiar, but English isn’t tied to one country. A globe needs a label. Language names need to be readable. Drawing icons for multilingual apps brings up some surprisingly tricky UX choices. www.axialis.com/icongenerato...

A toolbar, a dashboard, a settings panel… they all need icons. The tricky part is keeping the same visual style everywhere. Same functions, three different approaches: Line Design, Office Pro and Flat Pro. Explore our icon collections: www.axialis.com/icons/

An icon can look clear in a preview and feel cramped inside a button. Check the whole set in your actual UI: menus, toolbars, light and dark backgrounds. Which icon usually needs adjusting first?

Requested a 16×16 PNG. Got 24×24. In our Claude Desktop + IconVectors test, the fix was explicit: size.mode="pixels", widthPx and heightPx. Check the exported file, too. Video: edited from real results. github.com/marcemile/ic...

Same SVG, same browser, two different results. We tested what happens when a font file isn't available. The browser used a fallback font, changing the text width enough to prevent clipping. The SVG was valid in both cases. A useful reminder to test the actual rendering.

A UI can be functional and still feel visually inconsistent. Mixing icons from different libraries often means different stroke weights, proportions and alignment. It becomes especially noticeable in dashboards and healthcare apps. Worth checking before shipping.

Two SVG elements share the same ID. An automated edit targets that ID. Which one should change? IconVectors 2.10 MCP rejects the ambiguous request instead of guessing. The SVG stays unchanged. Better to stop than edit the wrong element.

Duplicate SVG IDs can be a real problem for automated editing. When an MCP command targets an ambiguous ID, IconVectors 2.10 returns `ambiguous_element_id` instead of modifying the wrong element. The document stays unchanged, and the matching candidates are returned for inspection.

A consistent icon set can make a real difference in a UI. Stroke widths, proportions and small details all contribute to how well icons work together. Different styles can work equally well. Consistency within each style is what matters. www.axialis.com/icons/

An AI agent can save a valid SVG and still get the result wrong. In our IconVectors 2.00 MCP benchmark, 2 of 48 runs failed due to duplicate SVG element IDs. A successful tool call doesn't guarantee a correct artifact. That's why the output matters as much as the execution.

CAD interfaces have a tough job: making complex tools instantly recognizable. A constraint, a measurement, a 3D operation — each needs its own visual language. That's the thinking behind our new 250-icon CAD set. www.axialis.com/news/mail-26...

A broken SVG thumbnail shouldn't break your workflow. IconVectors Explorer skips image content when generating previews. If a thumbnail can't be rendered, the file remains visible. A small design choice that keeps file browsing predictable.

Claude Desktop controlling IconVectors 2.10 through MCP. One SVG recolored, then exported as transparent PNGs at 16, 24 and 32 px. Real tool calls. Verified results. Originals untouched. iconvectors.io

Batch processing SVGs saves time. But what happens when something goes wrong? Before changing hundreds of files, you should know exactly what will be modified. Preview first. Apply later. That's the safer way to work with large icon sets.

AI agents will make mistakes. The question is whether your software lets those mistakes become real actions. A practical look at validation, permissions, and safer agent design. x.com/AxialisSoftw...

A payment, a transfer and a savings account shouldn't look interchangeable. Clear icons matter in financial UIs. We've added 200 Money Management icons to Axialis Line Pro, with consistent strokes and SVG/XAML support. www.axialis.com/icongenerato...

AI agents can write UI code. But what about the icons? With 166 local MCP tools, IconVectors 2.10 lets AI agents edit, resize and export SVG assets on Linux. Because icons are part of the development workflow too. iconvectors.io/news/2026-10...

Your SVG looks perfect in the editor. But what happens when it reaches your app? Dark mode, currentColor, group opacity, scaling..small details can cause real UI problems IconVectors 2.10 for macOS improves SVG rendering and editing Icons tested? iconvectors.io/news/2026-10...

AI makes image editors more powerful. But not necessarily easier to use. Generate, erase, enhance, transform… Every new tool needs to be understood at a glance. 172 consistent icons for traditional and AI imaging tools. www.axialis.com/icongenerato...

Linux developers shouldn't have to switch platforms to work on their SVG icons. IconVectors 2.10 is now available on Linux, with 14 batch commands, 166 MCP tools for AI automation, and an integrated SVG editor. Also available on Windows and macOS. iconvectors.io/news/2026-10...

Great UI, inconsistent icons? Users notice. Mixed stroke widths, proportions and styles create visual noise—especially in complex toolbars. Icon consistency isn't just aesthetics. It's usability. One grid. One stroke style. One visual language. www.axialis.com/icongenerato...

Would you trust an AI agent to modify 500 SVG files? With 166 MCP tools, IconVectors 2.10 for macOS opens up new ways to automate SVG workflows. But automation needs control. How much autonomy should AI agents have over your design assets? iconvectors.io/news/2026-10...

A component can compile on every supported platform and still behave differently. Keyboard navigation, focus handling, accessibility… Cross-platform parity requires more than successful builds. What should CI actually verify? x.com/AxialisSoftw...

An icon isn't ready just because it looks good. Developers still need the right format, size and sometimes a dark-mode variant. Our new Line Pro Security set includes 180 icons in SVG, XAML and PNG (1x–5x). Less asset preparation. More time building. www.axialis.com/icongenerato...

Dark mode isn't just a color switch. Normal, disabled, hover, dark theme… maintaining consistent icon states across an entire UI can become a challenge. IconVectors 2.10 for macOS can generate these variants in batches. How do you handle icon states in your apps? iconvectors.io

Native C++ projects document source dependencies. But what about machine dependencies? Compiler, SDK, runtime, binary provenance, build matrix, expected artifacts… Maybe AI agents need a `BUILD-CONTRACT.md` before they need another prompt. Make the environment part of the specification.
