Just got my latest PET scan result: "Complete interval resolution, both morphologically and metabolically, of the previously seen bulky lymphadenopathy above and below the diaphragm. No adenopathy by size or metabolic criteria. No new sites of disease." aka THE CANCER HAS GONE 🥳🥳🥳

My first ever cake. No really. I'm a much more experienced dinner maker than baker. Yes it's from a packet but who's counting? 😬

I made it my own by baking it in one pan not two, because I can't follow directions properly, and forgot the time. Ended up taking it from the oven an hour in, as opposed to the 24-28 mins from the instructions... sliced it through the middle using two plates. Ended up perfect! (luck not judgment.)

FWIW, I've been diagnosed with Lymphoma, basically cancer of the lymph nodes. Not looking for sympathy, just documenting a bit as I begin the path to hopefully kicking this thing out.

First day of chemotherapy today. I'm glad my treatment was able to be arranged quickly, and I have great faith in my oncologist and care team.

Just added a bunch of #C64 and #Amiga folks, so maybe my feed will have a reduced percentage of doomscrolling! Such good work still being done for some of my favorite machines.

Just had my first (of two) iron infusion (bad iron-deficient anemia causing tons of fatigue and dizziness). It was so metal. 🤘

I hope the #oblivionremastered just released is good, because the original seems to be extremely overrated these days. Bloom up the wazoo, poorly scaling enemies, uninteresting onlivion-gate story, but nice forests I guess. 🤷‍♀️ It didn't do Morrowind (which I loved back then) justice.

To quote the New Yorker, "Even a child is unlikely to be entertained by the film’s stream of Minecraft in-jokes" This right here sums up why folks are totally disillusioned by Movie Criticism as it has existed until recently.

I posted a guide to fixing #cs2 alt tab bugs, and generally making an easier life especially for multiple monitors or stretched res. @counter-strike.net It's a compilation of fixes, and also a quick explainer of why Borderless isn't the devil it once was. www.reddit.com/r/GlobalOffe...

ICYMI: I wrote this article which details the best selling Mastertronic games, and how many games they sold across formats in total, all with actual sales figures provided by Anthony Guter of Mastertronic. Well worth seeing how well just *one* software house did! mastertronic.co.uk/mastertronic...

Hypothetical AAA game comes out. Anti-woke: "Game is bad because it is woke". Anti-anti-woke: "Anti-woke is anti-LGBT" My take usually: "Game is bad becuase it's not fun, has poor storytelling and immersion, and drags on. Probably unoptimized." Too much politics in gaming. Distorts real issues.
