My first time participating in Weretober. Skipped Art Fight and Smaugust this year so felt like I had to take a stand and do something to challenge myself. Been learning anatomy lately and figured this was a perfect opportunity to put it in practice. 1/31 #weretober #werecreature #werebeast

I've hidden a reference in this piece, can you find it? XD Something quite different than my usual fare, don't really see dodo birds much. 9/31 #weretober #werebeast #werecreature

Really had to browbeat myself into getting this one done after being in an artistic slump. Couldn't really figure out what the difference between an auroch and cow besides 'bigger.' I know bull in a labyrinth isn't very original but still felt appropriate. 10/31 #weretober #werebeast #werecreature

She wants to make you part of her world. Would you take that offer or try bolting towards the surface? First entry in over a week plus thanks to family commitments but I am back in the game. Wanted to do a horror take on a mermaid based on a frilled shark. 7/31 #weretober #werecreature #werebeast

Be careful when wandering the empty forests and fields of Southeast Asia lest you suddenly find yourself cursed to become a hulking beast... This prompt had me very confused when I first heard it but decided to really give it a cursed transformation vibe. 8/31 #weretober #werecreature #werebeast

Feel like I scuffed the anatomy and perspective on this one yet I love it. XD Originally was going to be more ambitious with the perspective with a sort of side view but initial efforts went nowhere so went with this. 6/31 #weretober #werecreature #werebeast

This one's late but I really tried to take my time on this to get the anatomy and general vibe right. Not sure how successful I was with the anatomy but overall think I conveyed the scene I wished to. 3/31 #weretober #werecreature #werebeast

*Gives David Attenborough impression* Nature can be both beautiful and cruel in equal measure but yet we must not interfere for that is the circle of life... 4/31 #weretober #werebeast #werecreature

For this one I wanted to try giving more of a sense of action and the vibe of the werecroc leaping out of the water like an ambush predator. Some things fell flat but I'll keep trying and hopefully learning. 2/31 #weretober #werecreature #werebeast

Just a little something I decided to whip up for extra practice. Had a realization about drawing faces in perspective last night and wanted to try again. Ignore the fact I forgot the entire bottom half of the mane, it's fine we'll just call it a summer cut. XP

Been feeling out of practice so just wanted to try something simple. Still feel like I haven't gotten the hang of the 3/4 perspective but oh well I'll get it right someday. Also tried a few new things with shading to try giving a bit more 'texture' to the piece.

Forgot to update these the past week or so, this current set of 50 is to draw boxes but the vanishing point is much further away off the page. 51-72 completed for now. 72/250 #drawabox #250boxchallenge

Been playing Chicory: A Colorful Tale and learning how to draw with limited brushes with a joystick. Here's what I consider possibly my finest work so far. For someone who doesn't draw characters often, I'm legitimately rather pleased with this one.

I have finally done it, I am now...20% of the way through with the 250 Box Challenge. Trying to do nearly 20 in a day was a mistake though...will be trying to avoid that in the future. Feel mixed like some of these are good and others not so much. Hope I'm improving. #drawabox #250boxchallenge

I also noticed that in the past week I was gone I got nearly 10 new followers as well so just wanted to say thank you real quick and hopefully my art in the future will be pleasing to you.^^

Apologies for disappearing the past week, had some personal issues I was dealing with and also got obsessed with gaming again. Hoping to start getting back to the challenge and more art in general. 33/250 #Drawabox #250boxchallenge

Been weeks since I drew a proper piece so I wanted to started off somewhat simpler but still experiment a bit. First time I've ever drawn an actual gemstone. I just had to punish myself by drawing all the individual scales.

Took a few days off but I have finally returned to continue this challenge. 10% of the way through at this point so that's an accomplishment. 28/250 #drawabox #250boxchallenge

Today managed to get myself to work on some more boxes today so the streak continues at least. Though talking to other artists I'm once again wondering if I'm going about this the wrong way and if this is wasting time. I'll keep doing Drawabox for now though. 22/250 #drawabox #250boxchallenge

Alright then, I have uploaded all the work I did for Lesson 1 of Drawabox and now have moved onto the first major challenge proposed by the curriculum: the 250 Box Challenge. It's what it sounds like, draw 250 boxes free handed. So far I have done 17/250 and here they are. #drawabox #250boxchallenge

Didn't have space to mention this last post but the colored lines are meant to follow each set of parallel lines to see if they were actually converging at or near the vanishing points. Each box was marked with a specific symbol representing said vanishing points.

So regarding Drawabox I have completed Lessons 0 and 1 so I shall show the work I have done for those. I shall start with showing off the basic line work exercises I have gotten done.

So last month I decided to finally pull the trigger and start doing Drawabox to improve my fundamentals. Been hesitating but if I want to be truly serious about art I need to get a better grasp on my fundamentals and improve those. Started in July but will fill you in on how that's going. #drawabox

Been awhile since I posted on here, had a lot going on in life but figured why not come back here. Sadly decided to stop streaming gaming, it just started to feel like it was turning gaming into work with the schedule and all that. Still looking for a job but in the meantime going to improve my art.

Just something of a personal piece to get myself back into the swing of art. I feel like I've failed to be coherent in my art which is why it doesn't drum interest but then it came to me. My mother advised me to draw more dragons since those are my passion and I realized she was completely correct.

So easy to forget how much a simple vent piece can help the mood. I was ready to even pour out into a whole prose schtick screeching about how much I hate everything in the modern world but felt better after just drawing the picture so lost the mojo to keep going.

First art piece done in nearly three weeks, a bit rusty but not too bad I'd say. It's a bit of a vent piece as well, representing that feeling of being trapped with seemingly no way out. Pretty sure we've all been there before...

I really must thank Goldammer for his wonderful piece he made for me. It gave me the inspiration to muster up the energy for one final piece for ArtFight. I'm honored he made one for me given his skill level so hopefully he enjoys this one in return. #artfight

After a few days off, finally back in the game. The character's owner drew a pic of me early on in ArtFight and I've been meaning to respond ever since then. Hey better late than never as they say. #artfight

It took awhile to work up the nerve and inspiration but I have finally made my revenge piece in response to @rhaeloth.bsky.social wonderful Judgment he made for me on my birthday. I really felt like I needed to up my game so I tried for some new perspective I haven't done before. Hope he like it.

This is my first revenge piece in retaliation for a defense Naeriie used against me. This is the first 'humanoid' I've ever really drawn a full picture of and overall not so bad I like to think. Hopefully the character owner thinks the same. #artfight

"Where the hell am I?! Last thing I remember I was about to mug that geek but then his eyes glowed, a flash, and now I'm...here. Oh god...am I falling?! *thud* Ow...when I get out of here...what the? What the fuck are you suppos-AHHHHH!!!" - damned wretch, another offering to the Nameless Beasts
