In response to today’s “No Kings” protests, the President of the United States posted an AI video on Truth Social of himself wearing a crown, flying a fighter jet with “KING TRUMP” written on the side, and dumping torrents of feces on the protestors.

It occurs to me that the Administration's position is that non-citizens don't have Constitutional rights such as freedom of speech, of religion, of assembly, etc. Using this abhorrent idea supposedly allows them to deprive anyone they say is not a citizen of their rights.

[continued from preceding post] 3) Kilmar Abrego Garcia was deprived of his Constitutional rights, but Donald Trump doesn't care. Be a Patriot[, Senator]! Do your job! Bring Abrego Garcia back for due process.

Here's what I wrote to my US senators today: 1) Read Section 1 of the 14th Amendment. Note it differentiates between "citizens" and "all persons", and says "all persons" have a right to due process. 2) Only tyrants ignore the Constitution. Patriots oppose tyranny. [continued...]

Five words: FREE KILMAR ABREGO GARCIA. TODAY. A phone call to takes a minute or two. Writing a postcard takes a few minutes and costs a buck or so. So devote 15 minutes and perhaps a few dollars EVERY DAY to get this message across and to get this man home. Join the chant. Write and call.

Five words. FREE KILMAR ABREGO GARCIA. TODAY. To the White House, to Congressmen, to Senators, to Marco Rubio. Via postcard, via voice message, via website. At rallies throughout the nation. A chant, growing louder and louder. Again and again, every day, until he is free.

If you're not familiar with the details of Kilmar Abrego Garcia's case, look them up. The Trump Administration declared him a member of a terrorist gang and shipped him off to a prison in El Salvador without due process. They admit this was an error. But they won't help get him back.

Today I am writing postcards to all the US Congressmen representing the San Antonio area. Trump is on tape talking with El Salvador's dictator Bukele about expanding what Trump has done to Abrego Garcia to American "homeboys".

Kind words from overseas...

This is something we need more of. We are so unsure of where our traditional allies stand. Words like these coming from ordinary citizens mean so much more than those same words coming from politicians. We get that you don't want to buy American goods. But please don't give up on the American people

You are up to date.
