#FPL (belated) GW8: 1/1 FT Saka out, Rogers in. 3.2 ITB Injuries have forced nearly all my transfers this season. None rolled but WC & FH intact. Finally have a 2nd CHE attacker. Captain Haaland. (Gvardiol will come off bench if Califiori doesn't come on for ARS).

#FPL Looks like another gameweek without rolling a FT. Saka to Rogers leaves enough money to move Gonzolo to Isak the following GW (if 0.2 spare now is enough then).

#FPL GW7: 71 points OR: 317K up to 319K Small green arrow thanks to Cherki not coming on for 1 pt. Robinson off the bench for 7pts Szobozslai FT out looks like it was the correct choice. Just 1 FT available for GW8

#FPL GW7 1/1 FT Szoboszlai to Saka Wanted Rogers too but not worth a hit. No De Cuyper could hurt. Still holding off on WC but keep losing FTs to injury problems.

#FPL GW6 62 pts OR 160K down to 318K What was I thinking ? Brought in 2 FTs from worst team in league (FUL). Where did the Robinson & Szobo injuries appear from? No set plans for WC but was hoping to save for later. Let's see what state the squad is in after the midweek games.

#FPL GW6: 2 red flags - Ballard & Isak 2 FTs B&I out for Robinson & Gonzolo. Stupidly, made Ballard to Robinson early before injury news. FUL's fixtures were great but this hasn't started well. A lot riding on the LIV v MCI game. (would've got a FUL DEF anyway - hope Jedi is fit for next 2).

#FPL GW5: Rolled the FT. Xhaka autosubbed in for JP. 62 pts OR: 392K up to 160K Liverpool players did a bit better. Groß came to the rescue, not for 1st time. Safe Haaland captaincy was OK. Cherki got goal & BP. Holding back on WC for the moment. If a few injuries crop up on IB might change.

#FPL GW4: 80 pts OR: 287K down to 380K Could have been worse. Heavy LIV was a disaster - 10 pts from Szoboszlai, Wirtz & captain Isak. Cherki flop and only JP from CHE. Returns all round otherwise. Luckily, Groß & Gvardiol did very well. CS for FT Konsa.

#FPL GW4: This'll be it bar late team leaks. Early FT Shaw to Konsa to avoid the price drop. No chip and only JP from CHE. That could go badly. Captain Isak. Pretty looking team, stripy bench. (FPL question: Why is George Hemmings listed with his first name?)

#FPL GW3: 70 points from a TC GW - reasonable chip return for the extra 9 pts. Out: Mbeumo 8 & Rodon 0 (though would have played Ballard 4) In: Cherki 3 & Egan 6 Great start again with losses in later games. Just a disallowed goal & yellow card from today. OR: 1M05 up to 278K DEF & FWD ✅ MID 😟

#FPL GW3: 2 FTs Mbeumo & Rodon to Cherki & Egan. Triple Captain Haaland. Still heavy on LIV so hoping for a good start. If Areola can get them playing, might not want to Wildcard early & get by on FTs.

#FPL GW2: 88 pts OR: 400K down to 1M05 After Haaland cap and the LIV early kickoff, was briefly on OR 25K. Bruno F mainly responsible for the massive fall. 13pt Gross on bench 😟. Rodon hamstring. Mbeumo to Cherki. Might replace Rodon too.

#FPL GW1 Bench Boost Lots of first XI flops (avg 3.5 pts) while the bench worked wonders (avg 7.5 pts). It's a bit early for kneejerking and will roll into GW2 but MUN & LIV didn't impress so I doubt there will be 6 of those for much longer. OR inside top 400K. Big improvement on last season.

#FPL Won't be around before deadline so this will be the GW1 Bench Boost squad: Similar to earlier drafts. Main difference Igor Thiago out for Isak with a couple of tweaks to afford the extra 1.0. No new players or promoted teams. 3 x LIV; 3 x MUN; 2 x MCI; 2 x SUN; 2 x BHA but only 1 ARS 😟

#FPL GW38 finished on 44 points. Final tally: 2154 pts and OR 1.45M My worst FPL season (bar 14/15 when I only played for the final few GWs) Highlight of 25/26: @mikemahoney.bsky.social finishing OR 51. Great result from a stalwart of the Goalden Oldies League. Lowlight - Rice to Trossard GW20

#FPL GW37 65 points OR grey/green arrow 1M38 to 1M35 My differentials blanked bar DCL but the threats did too bar Raya. Highest scorer Darlow on the bench. 3FTs and 1.6M in the bank for the final gameweek. Salah in for captaincy for one last time an option.

#FPL GW37: 2/4 FTs Semenyo & Senesi out. Ndiaye & Tarkowski in. Captain Haaland. When did that flag appear for Ampadu (1st bench)? Good week is a bit too reliant on BHA. New goal of top 10% achievable.

#FPL GW36 97 pts OR: 1M64 up to 1M38 Decent green arrow & only a 1 min TC Haaland cameo away from the 100 club. Had been over 3M rank after GW30 & now only c 70K outside top 10%. 6th green arrow after run of 6 red ones. 4 FTs available for the last 2 GWs. Saka & Bruno F only blanks. 22 on bench.

#FPL GW36 1/4 FTs: Palmer to Saka. Pretty template in top 10K but fairly differential at my rank. TC Haaland. Stuck by Semenyo rather than move to Cherki. Enough FTs to wangle Salah in for GW38 if that's an option.

#FPL GW33: 127 pts OR: 2M73 up to 1M72 I haven't had the breaks this season so this was welcome. It was a crap BB - 13 pts after autosubs but I wouldn't have had all that Brighton on WC32 if I wasn't bench boosting. I don't think I've had a 1 million green arrow outside the 1st few GWs before.

Weird BlueSky problems today. Unable to access feed or notifications. Then I see I've got a DM. It was from a few weeks ago. I haven't done the UK age verification so can't use DMs so it was odd to see one and be able to reply. This is what my feed looks like today. Anyone seen similar issues?

#FPL GW29: 54 points OR: 2M69 down to 2M86 Can't get moving this season. GW30: 0/2 FTs used. Captain Ekitike All chips available. (Just posting for consistency rather than any enthusiasm but who knows, maybe 1 decent GW and a chip splurge will MFFA)

#FPL GW28: 57 points OR 2M57 down to 2M69 A strong Saturday but lack of Sunday players meant a red arrow. Dodged a BB bullet with no shows for Wirtz, Kelleher & Haaland. GW29: Haaland might well play and MID moves (eg Bruno F) need a hit so rolling the 1 FT. Wirtz stays as may be back in GW30.

#FPL GW28: 1/1 FT made early Lacroix out for Virgil. Had been considering BB but Wirtz put paid to that. Will be looking out for info on his injury. Hill makes the first XI ahead of Anderson & Timber. Plenty of nice fixtures. Haaland captain.

#FPL GW27: 45 points OR 2M52 down to 2M57 Pretty much a grey arrow. The BRE triple up was a fail but they're in there for the run of fixtures. No goals and no scores >6pts.

#FPL GW28: Been a disaster season so far. All chips intact. Tempted to get BB out of way. GW28 doesn't look too bad after getting Virgil in for Lacroix. FFScout agrees with my bench choice (if not order) FFFix reckon I should play Hill & Anderson ahead of Mbeumo & Semenyo !

#FPL GW27: 5/5 FTs used. Mini wildcard to stir things up a bit. OR about 2.5 M so more differential than my usual style. All in on BRE. Captain Thiago. Out: Raya, Estève, Trossard, Bruno G & Guiu. In: Kelleher, Hill, Dango, Anderson & Thiago. Threats aplenty.

#FPL OK, I'll start with the bad news. GW26: 50 pts OR: 2M14 down to 2M52 Outside of Semenyo (14) & Thiaw (11 on bench), 6,5,3+3 cap,3,3,3,3,3,2,2. new min. target for season OR: 3,470,518 that's for 2014/15 when I only played for the last 5 or 6 weeks. Good news to follow 😀

#FPL GW24: 64 pts OR: 2M18 up to 1M99 (FT was Foden to Mbeumo) Wirtz & Ekitike 👍 GW25: 4 FTs - 1 used - O'Reilly to Senesi. Captain Ekitike (might change to Wirtz). Missing several high EO but gotta get away from the 2M OR doldrums.

#FPL GW22: (a bit late) 42 points OR: 1M75 up to 1M66 Slowly rising. 4xMCI a bit rubbish 2 of 3 ARS decent 1 of 2 good for both LIV & NEW The Ekitike captaincy over Haaland made no difference but Ekitike had 10x the xGI so I'll call that the right choice. 3FTs available but may roll again.
