Vincent Deck Update: Great Success. I definitely didn't crash a photo opp at Supanova to hand deliver it.. Matt had no idea what he was holding, but he did find out afterwards. Hope you enjoy playing this as much as I enjoyed making it @matthewmercer.bsky.social

I've been meaning to do more short form yaps... Build your Magic decks backwards ❤️

Paws everything. It's bear time. #MTGxHobbit Card Reveal!

Cooked up a quick B4 Scarlet Witch deck last night and in 3 goldfishes, it's threatened a win on turn 4, 4 and 5 respectively. Seems good!

Scuttle Crabs hate him! Local Riftbound player exposes shocking crab secret. Learn this hidden trick for shocking results 🦀

Very excited for the Sydney Riftbound event this weekend. I'll be around all weekend and will be running it down in the main tournament on Saturday which I am WOEFULLY under-prepared for. Wish me luck, but also say hello if you see me!

Magic bulk piles up so fast... Good thing I checked it and realized I need to sort it properly before I give it all away...

As a Meren enjoyer, how have I never seen this card?? It doesn't appear on her EDHRec page and is in only 21 Meren decks out of 20600 in the data. That's absolutely wild. I love finding hidden gems. What a banger.

Want to cast the net out here. Are there any alter artists that follow me that take commissions? Especially if you love and want to work on a Project Hail Mary inspired alter.

Still on Strixhaven... So you really liked Magic's most beautiful Counterspell yesterday. Whilst not foil, what about the most beautiful Brainstorm?

Given we're deep in Strixhaven... I'd like to present to the class my recent acquisition. The most beautiful Counterspells in Magic. Straight into my pauper deck, and yes I appreciate the irony in that😅

OG Strixhaven brought me back to Magic, and I still love the Mystical Archive as much as I did last time round. The Foil Force of Will goes hard! Thanks to @magic.wizards.com for helping with my Strixhaven Education. #gifted

Not a bad week for the froge in competitive card games. 2-1 At Pauper with Dimir Control and 3-1 at my second Riftbound locals with Azir. Now to crack the two SoS collector boosters that found their way into my backpack....

presented without comment

I'm currently nursing a lost voice or I'd be yapping about it, but I have a card preview for you! Ennis, Debate Moderator is sure to be a solid addition to flicker focused white decks, especially in bracket 2 in commander. Thank you to @magic.wizards.com the preview opportunity #MTGStrixhaven

Not something I'd have expected when I first had the idea to do this. Accidentally becoming a magic frog has taught me many lessons and hopefully my turning into a frog has resulted in the same for you. Thanks for being part of the frog army <3

Despite being a very mechanically focused player, the Strixhaven Japanese Mystical Archives cards are what brought me back to Magic in 2021. Without a doubt my favourite art and card treatment in Magic and Secrets of Strixhaven is running where the last set walked. Incredible <3

No way! We finally got the scuttle crab in Magic. Thanks Strixhaven!

Just Meren doing Meren things.

So the Japanese alt arts are why I got back into Magic, but I thought The Hobbit would definitely be the best set of the year. Strixhaven really do be saying hold my beer right now. What a set!

I've been looking at alter artists as I want to get an alter made and given well... frog... so I had to share these. Some of the cutest alters I've seen from @Seliemoonart. Do yourself a favour and go and look at their instagram. It's even better than you'd expect. @seliemoon.bsky.social

me looking disrespectfully at the Strixhaven spoilers. My wallet is in terror.

I'll be doing my best gromp impersonation at the Riftbound RQ in Sydney as a creator. I've challenged myself to compete, and no doubt there'll be a tale to tell and some lessons in the wake of it. If you're going, see you there! #RQSydney

For any late nighters, I'll be streaming at 11:30PM ET / 2:30PM Sydney time. I'm going to be working on my B3 Meren deck, updating my B4 Zhulodok list, chatting doing Q&A. This test stream will be only on Twitch at www.twitch.tv/baseddeckdept as it a test stream. Come hang out

IT'S A HOT FROG SUMMER

Me watching the #paupergeddon broadcast for new Pauper tech.

TIL all BTS fans are really just frog fans.

There are many cards that could belong here, but I think these are reflective of the decks and experiences that most influenced what I enjoy in Magic... This is going to age me 🤣

No Magic video this week, too busy slaying spires. Absolutely loved the first game, and loving number 2 so far. #SlaytheSpire

Clickbait? Not even once.

It's a pretty good day to be a turtle enjoyer #MTGxTMNT

The turtles were a pretty big part of my childhood. So much so that I named numerous childhood pets after them. I am unsurprisingly very keen to crack these open. Hope I get all the Raph and Leo cards :D Thanks to Wizards of the Coast for the turtle power. #MTGxTNMT #gifted

Straight fire... or whatever the kids are saying these days. Definitely not 6-7. If you're looking respectfully, go check it out voidmonster.org?utm_source=Y...

HE'S JUST LIKE ME FR FR

Skullbriar eating good...

Love this.

Me looking at all my friends enjoying @riftbound.riotgames.com right now... IYKYK

Anyone got a few thousand dollars for me? I need it because of reasons.... @klugalters.bsky.social

Another banned announcement, another sad day for Emrakul.

This is wild.

A huge loss for the Magic World. An inspiration to do many, myself included. Rest well gentle juggernaut

Lorwyn prerelease was incredibly fun. Saw so many cool builds and managed to put together a solid sultai elves list, splashing blue for removal and Oko. Went a respectable 3-0. We take those. Now drafting back to back days in the next 48h! ♥️ #MTGLorwyn

These special frames go incredibly hard. As does the Formidable Speaker for my Meren deck... The art in this set really is peak. So keen to get down to a prerelease this weekend.

If you like my Magic videos, this is how I envisage it.

Straight outta the forests of #MTGLorwyn... I'm a huge sucker for good art in Magic and this set does not disappoint. It also doesn't hurt that there are some absolute banger upgrades for Meren lurking in the woods. Thank you to @magic.wizards.com for indulging me #gifted

This is such a good removal / finisher setup card for elemental decks. Way better than simply a big beater. Big fan

ART

excuse me

New video out to start the year. This one is less magic and more reflection. Probably one that will resonate with anyone who creates youtu.be/gTJjuktp15c

Amazing
