It doesn’t help that the midwest’s natural environment is being ripped apart by the rich at an alarming rate, when it’s already on its last legs. The west and the coasts aren’t safe either and it makes me so depressed. Decades of conservation efforts are being undone.

Ok doomer Basil journal moment over, I am just playing these thoughts in my head a lot lately and wanted to share. I want to do more for the plants and critters, I’ve already have a lot of ideas; We gotta do our part no matter how small. Our trip was very very nice, I will miss you pine trees!!! 🌲💛

I’m very thankful for the career and community I’ve carved out for myself online, I think it’s helped form the most healthy relationship I can have with social media and the internet in general but I’ve really appreciated logging off

I miss nature so much. I’ve been living in the midwest for ten years now and while there’s definitely a natural beauty worth seeking out it can never beat the mountains, lakes, and oceans of home.

Spent the whole weekend doing house/apartment showings - it’s been exhausting. Thank you to everyone who’s been supportive and kind to us as things have become stressful 💛 I can’t wait to get back to normal and not worry about if I’m gonna have a roof over my head.

Landlord sold our rental home so we’re being forced to vacate on short notice. Sucks bad. Streams will likely be affected as we deal with the moving process. Thank you to everyone who has been so supportive to us! We are very lucky to have Stinky Hollow in these uncertain times 💛🏕️

New Zelda game doesn't have my favorite visuals in the world but it very clearly has an art style. Reminder that it's okay to just not like it rather than join the "Focus M" comparison hive mind, it absolutely has more character than that.

Next Zelda game won’t look like this. Trust. It’s pretty obvious they are always trying new things, this new thing is just ugly to you - it will not be the defacto style for the future of the franchise the way other AAA games have made hyper realism their visual zenith.

I personally think things like the NPCS, the enemies, and general game feel look pretty great. Personal gripes? Link’s adult design is thematically clever but visually busy (love his nose tho), Natural Environments are a little bland, and I wish the game had more new content.
