Baskerville Book Reviews - No Quarter Given!

I finally got to meet one of my favorite authors in person. As a kid, I always dreamed of meeting one of my favorite authors at a signing. I've been dreaming of buying hardcover copies of this awesome series since I learned about it in '23. Thank you @ajcalvin.bsky.social ! 🥹🙏💜

A.I. has its uses. 😤 I'm an amateur arachnid observer.😊 I've been taking pictures of cool spiders I find while at work over the last several years. I fed all of my images to Gemini, and it made this checklist for me to fill out for the remaining few I haven't spotted.

This is one of my favorite things in my collection. Author L.P. Hernandez gave me a "test" bookplate he used to sign signatures on.

All the arachnophobes of the world are lame! I always want to post pictures of all of the cool spiders I see and take pictures of, but it would probably freak a bunch of people out.

A really talented artist did a watercolor painting of Little Annie as a gift last year. I don't own much art, but this is by far my favorite.

My mother and I found this little kitty in the middle of the road, on the corner of Bumfuck, and 'You got a purdy mouth', farmland on Monday. We took her to the shelter, and just got called back about placing a hold fee to adopt her. 🥹

Staring at a wiki, trying to figure out which page to work on next. 😖 A lot of these are only 'starter' pages. Stuff I can fill out in more detail as I play the game and learn more about it. I hate having to pause playing a game to make the articles so I can add my notes to them.

Every time I want to get back into listening to audiobooks, I always start with the same few books/series. Weapon Takers Saga Bloodlines Reforged Saga Vampire Huntress Legend Series Those short bursts were me trying to listen at work, but my weedeater is so loud, I couldn't hear anything.

This is one of my favorite screenshots/replies of all time. I was thinking about this a few days ago, but I didn't know where I had saved it.

Every time I hear the dumb bitch lead singer of "Falling In Reverse" on the radio, whining about somebody "cancelling you for something you said 10 years ago", I think about how he sued a critic for criticizing his shitty music. What a pathetic little bitch. 🤣

Thoughts later.

I'm a member of the official ARC team for author Diana Urban's next book, "You're Overthinking This"!🥰😍🥹

Only now realizing that the desk mat sold at the 2025 Tokyo Game Show was a reissue of the old Dreamcast pre-order mouse pad in a way! Even the artwork appears to be a spiritual successor.

My local human society is looking for help. They recently took in 108 cats in 5 weeks. The fourth picture is my own kiddo, whom I adopted from them nearly 7 years ago. (January 21, 2020.) register.nocohumane.org/campaign/818...

@jimjam707.bsky.social Is this you? A friend and I have been trying to find this old APK and can't find a download link anywhere. We know it's unplayable, but you're the only person we've found who may still have it. If this is you.

Last year, there was a Senryu campaign for the Shiren the Wanderer series in Japan. Participants were able to download Shiren social media icons. The campaign has long since concluded, so here's the link to the icons. mysterydungeonwiki.com/wiki/Meta:30... www.spike-chunsoft.co.jp/shiren_senryu/

What GIF pops up when you type in your name? It's technically her name, I simply adopted it.

I feel vindicated as a motherfucker. "Would it kill you to be nice once in a while?!" I don't know, maybe!! www.youtube.com/shorts/uJ60B...

Emergency Order! The True Wanderer Rescue Team Mobilizes!! was a campaign for Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer GB2 - Magic Castle of the Desert. It called the Wanderer Rescue Team to perform 3 challenging rescues for prizes. mysterydungeonwiki.com/wiki/Meta:Em...!

As a kid, people would always say to me "If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything!" Then I became a mute, and they all tried to pester me to talk. Fuck off, and fuck you. 🤣

Interesting that Mr. Nakamura posed with a Mini Mamel Plush, and 2 Mamel Bonbons, as opposed to 3 Mamel Bonbons. 👀

Oof. I'm a wiki editor first, and a book reviewer second. I *try* to keep listening and reading active, but I get burned out or busy with my wikis and have these droughts.

I kept trying to find Steam games to play to casually play, but achievement hunter brain takes over. 🤣 Maybe it wouldn't have taken so long if I wasn't distracted by Steam games. But I wouldn't have been distracted by Steam games if this didn't suck so hard!

I've been adding sprites, monster, item, and trap names to "Monster of Moonlight Village GameBoy" pages since August 11. I'm glad to be done with this.
