Boats from the 54th MTB flotilla, which were manned by Norwegian officers and men, attack a German convoy in the Fjords near Askvoll. This was a very close game - I managed to torpedo the ore freighter with a very lucky shot at the last moment before it could escape into harbour. #navalwargaming

What's the lovliest thing about painting Napoleonic Austrians? Indeed. Pink cuffs/turnbacks/collars. It is mandatory for each collection of Napoleonic Austrians to contain at least a battalion with pink regimental facings.

At this point, youtube stuff loads WAY faster via Invidious rather than via youtube's own website. Impressive.

Finally tackling the problem of drooping Tertial lamps, because I got a painting workshop coming up this weekend. Just snip a few hoops from the springs, bend one of them 90°, done. It's fruitful and fun, and that's what it's all about, right?

Also, note the absolute state of that lower spring. These things just get a bit more slack over time, but I think I certainly didn't do them any favours by keeping them stored in a folded manner (as makes sense) with constant maximum tension on the springs. :D

Now I keep'em off and only put them on when I set the lights up. Like the string to a bow. Meaning I can pretend to be Odysseus stringing the bow when ever I set up the lights for communal painting. More time, more parts which can be lost, but another occasion to play pretendsies. 🤡

Heyhey, here's a #warhammer Fey Enchantress from 2003. Cool thing about this one was that I got it NIB, shrink-wrapped and all. So I got to open the box, get the very useful plastic thingie out (which had yellowed quite a bit over the decades despite no sunlight), got the 6th edition ad leaflet...

.) Legion of the Damned: Could be bonier and less flamier for my taste. Otherwise remarkably 'nilla, considering they're pretty much the KRAZIEST Marines out there. .) Custodes: Yup, look OK. .) Lizardmen: Neat. Not wild about helmets on Skinks, but in general nice from what I can see.

Ha, look what I got! Yeah, never thought I'd have one, but here it is. My first P-Bandai kit as well. Very pleased to see how this isn't just a recolour with another runner thrown in, but a proper nice kit (and feels like a cut above even the Origin Zaku), plus: waterslide decals!

The nicest Soulblight Gravelords army in the world* is getting picked up in about an hour. I'll miss the guys. All-round great project. I playtested a Torpedoes and Tides scenario today. It's based on an early experiment with rockets mounted on MTBs by the US MTBRON 15 in the Med in February 1944. The squadron was out to hunt MFPs, but stumbled upon torpedoe boats instead. 1/6 #navalwargaming #torpedoesandtides

No master pieces, but it's just for myself anyway. Getting some Dark Elves from the vault painted (Cold One Knights), a lovely 2001 Klocke sculpt for Reaper in that DE lady character on Cold One and I finally took pictures of this 3d printed sorceress. Hope ye like 'em and happy weekend! #nerdlings

Never been a huge fan of that champion with the little pet dragon in general, so I had two left. Thus, the legend of the Twin Dragons, Jimmy and Bimmy, was born. The twins have an ongoing bet for who gets to be the champ and who's the musician in the next battle based on kills in the prior one.

Eagle-eyed readers will notice how I put these 2000 CoK onto 200...8? Cold Ones. Works perfectly fine (did the same thing in reverse last week), all you need to do is snip off the higher ends of the saddles on the Cold Ones in the back and a bit in the front. Then they fit perfectly.
