Hi I'm Louise, a Canadian cosplayer since 2001.
I love detail-oriented sewing with a clean finish inside and out. Forever making costumes I can wear to go on an adventure!

It exists! I interviewed backup dancers, producers, the costume designer, the song’s producers who granted the rights, and so many more who were involved: web.archive.org/web/20240227...
PSA:
1. If you are not silly, it is vital you become silly
2. If you are silly, you must stay silly
2. If you used to be silly but have stopped, you must make all efforts to return to silliness
once again (due to seeing an otherwise really cool cosplay tutorial that made this mistake) I am reminding all craft people that uncured gel polish or uv resin is EXCEEDINGLY DANGEROUS. Do you want to develop severe allergies to everything from shampoo to dental work and bone cement? Cause yeah.
I truly love fanfiction writers and artists like you guys are out here making life so much more fun for so many people for FREE fuck capitalism art and community is what makes us human and what makes life worth living
After much searching for my Keyleth build thread and much refining of my bluesky search techniques, turns out that all my original build posts were on twitter-that-was and I never even reposted it here 🤣
First up for Finish It February will be upgrades to my Keyleth cosplay, to enter the CSC Fancon workmanship contest later this month. Along the way I'll unearth the build thread and finish that up too
Also making a goal to post once a day here because I've been working on cosplays and going to events and getting some amazing photos back but have fallen out of the habit of posting
I have so little time for personal art nowadays that it has become precious to me. This year of 2025 I made these two that I adore - Time's End and Sea of Giants, both for a personal project :)
I'm used to the not-used-to-having longer nails slip of chopping the tip off my nail while prepping dinner, today was a new one of burning the tip of my nail with the lighter while sealing ribbon ends
Once again, I feel the need to say that just because I'm not actively posting about Major World Events, it does not mean I'm unaware of them or don't care. It means that I just don't have anything to add to the conversation, and also I'm keeping my anxiety in check.
Yesterday me was making perfect progress on this corset-belt and only had to pause to buy boning; today me is ripping out boning channels and re-sewing them .5mm wider
I am a chronic post liker. I will like your post. It will mean many things. 'This is good', 'I hear you', 'It gets better', 'This was funny', 'Yahoo', 'Throwing eggs'. You will deal with it. This is our social contract
